Abstract/Summary:
In the current society the global aging trend is becoming more and more significant.The sharp increase in the number of elderly people and the relative strain on health care resources are becoming more and more pronounced.However,due to the limitations of users and objective conditions,there is still room for further research on motivation and compliance of users.Therefore,this paper is based on Multi-sensory Stimulation(MSS),combined with Mixed Reality(MR)technology,to conduct research on multi-sensory rehabilitation training models.The design principles and design strategies of the rehabilitation training aids are proposed through user research,and the hand is used as the entry point to develop a rehabilitation program in a mixed reality environment and a functional prototype in a realistic environment,and functional near-infrared spectroscopy(fNIRS)is used for usability evaluation and product iteration The final design was completed.The main research of this paper includes the following three aspects:(1)Analysis of the physical and psychological characteristics of the target group.(1)Analyzing the physiological and psychological characteristics of the target group and the functional requirement hierarchy model through questionnaires,field research and user interviews.(2)Based on the hierarchical model,explore the multisensory stimulation methods in the mixed reality environment.Develop rehabilitation training design contents that meet users’needs and integrate behavioral training into mixed reality to determine the design direction and system architecture of the rehabilitation training model.Determine the direction of developing functional prototypes applicable to rehabilitation movements,motor performance,and multisensory stimulation feedback for elderly groups.(3)Complete the development of functional prototypes based on mixed reality and sensor technology,and verify the effectiveness of their brain cortical activation levels and functional area connections by means of functional near-infrared spectroscopy testing and evaluation of the subjects.Afterwards,user feedback is obtained with the help of user scales and behavioral observations to summarize and start the preparation of iterative design.(4)Exploring the design practices of multisensory stimulation training aids for mixed reality environments.The design orientation of the rehabilitation training aids is determined,the program design is refined and the product and rehabilitation APP design of the rehabilitation training aids are completed,and finally the product-related functions are enriched and improved to meet the needs of the user service experience.This paper discusses the research ideas of multi-sensory stimulation therapy and mixed reality technology applied to the exercise rehabilitation of the elderly population.It is an attempt to enrich the rehabilitation training methods for the elderly group in the home and community environment and reduce the risk of degenerative diseases in this group,and it is meaningful to realize the product design development and strategy supplement for rehabilitation training and remote assessment.
