| Manufacturing is the base of economic development,with the development of"Made in China 2025",a series of actions have been raised and kept moving on.For each of enterprise,with the increasing of human cost,it must reduce internal cost besides technology introduction and innovation.In addition,the COVID-19 make the sales market weakness and supply chain disruption,which has made all enterprises realize that reducing internal costs is the basis for enterprise survival.For the manufacturing industry,inventory cost is the basis for enterprises to control costs.The quality of inventory control may even affect the survival of enterprises.Effective inventory control can improve the inventory turnover rate and reduce the occupation of enterprise funds,Let the limited assets generate higher value to ensure the sustainable development of the enterprise.H Company is a typical discrete manufacturing enterprise,and its main business is to produce and sale the coordinate measuring machines and portable measuring machines.Since 2010,H Company’s business has expanded rapidly.Driven by the expansion of the group,H Company’s products have gradually enriched both models and sizes.The annual volume has increased from 1 171 units to 2760 units,with an increase of 2.35 times,at the same times,H company’s inventory has also increased from 150 million to 400 million,and the high inventory level has already affected the normal operation of Company H.This article takes H Company’s inventory management optimization research as an example,and through questionnaire survey and statistical analysis of historical inventory data,stagnant inventory data,and order execution data,found the main problems in H Company’s inventory management are unreasonable material classification,a large amount of stagnant inventory,low inventory turnover rate,low inventory accuracy,and long material delivery time,which make it difficult to quickly respond to customer needs.Through in-depth analysis and research on these issues,it is found that the main reasons for these problems are the single procurement mode and unreasonable material classification.Based on the analysis,the article put forward the optimization ideas,.Firstly,by improving the original ABC classification method in H company to optimize the material classification,and in addition,based on Kara jack matrix model,divide the material to four categories with different management strategies.Secondly,Improving the ordering method of H Company based on JIT and Kanban theory,which achieve different ordering methods based on different suppliers and materials.Thirdly,implementing joint in ventory management in H Company,develop strategic cooperative suppliers,achieve integrated supply chain management.To ensure the optimization methods effective.A series of guaranteed measures have been proposed.The article is to provide theoretical support and reference for the inventory management of similar manufacturing enterprises while optimizing the inventory management of Company H. |
