In recent years,with the continuous development of Chinese enterprises,Chinese enterprises face the competition has intensified,the inventory problem for all enterprises in China is not a new problem,because of the lack of enough understanding,most corporate management with the thought of "heavy sales,inventory",focus on the interests of the local and market share,but not of its own internal inventory management,lead to the inventory management level in the most of Chinese enterprises is still in a backward position.For the building materials industry,especially for dealers,they directly face the terminal customer demand,in the customer demand problems,only need to improve the inventory level can be solved,that is,the higher the inventory level,the easier to solve the customer delivery problem.However,in 2015,when the stock market crashed,China's economy slowed down,and Banks tightened monetary policy,the high inventory level held up the cash flow of enterprises,thus restricting the development of enterprises.The research object of this paper is company H,a distributor mainly selling building materials.Through the investigation of the company,the following problems were found in its inventory management:unreasonable organizational structure,unreasonable distribution of staff functions;The inventory difference is large,and the enterprise ERP system is of little help to the enterprise,which lacks the authenticity of the information.Safety inventory amount is large,but the phenomenon of out of stock occurs frequently,inventory level and inventory cost is high.In view of the above problems,this paper optimizes the inventory problem of company H to a certain extent through integrated and partial measures.As a whole,it has solved the coordination problem of enterprise organization departments,strengthened the relationship between all departments of the enterprise on inventory management by standardizing work functions,reforming wage system and other means,and systematically quantified the storage department by introducing ABC classification system.On the premise of not damaging the interests of all departments,reduce the inventory of H company,improve the inventory turnover rate,and enhance the competitiveness of the enterprise.Based on H company as the research object,this paper carefully analyzes the inventory management of H company is currently the status quo,deeply analyze the problems of H company in inventory management,formulate the corresponding measures,the measures of H company not only help the rest of the domestic outfit building materials enterprises,dealers provide referential experience for the rest of the industry.
