Market conditions lead companies to looking for innovation,With the formation of the global market of the automobile industry and the diversification of customer demands,auto parts enterprises are facing great challenges in the research and development management.Customers have higher and higher requirements for product quality and performance,and the complexity of product design is also increasing.Under the current situation,no matter the vehicle manufacturers or parts manufacturers,are strengthening the development of new products and launch to the market,for cope with the increasingly fierce market competition.The performance quality,price and market speed of new products are closely related to the product research and development ability of enterprises.Regarding Z Company,an auto parts manufacturer,as the object of study.By studying the R & D management process of Z Company and conducting in-depth interviews with the R & D management personnel,this paper explores the root causes of its R & D management problems and optimizes and transforms the existing R & D management process of Z Company by using ECRS process transformation method and PLM theory.These transformation schemes include the adjustment of the organizational structure of the R&D team,the input and output matrix of the product in each stage of the life cycle,and the setting of entry and exit standards and conditions in each stage of the product life cycle.Meanwhile,it is proposed to integrate the transformed R&D management process with the information system and establish the R&D management process structure for the whole product life cycle.Solve Z company’s long-term process management problems in product development,process design,production verification,production,and other links.Finally,feasible safeguard measures are proposed based on the above transformation research,and a series of practical implementation schemes are provided for Z Company.Successfully transformed the whole process of R&D management and pulled the whole process through the information system,including the online management of BOM management,product change management,data management,document management and door report management through the information system.This study laid a solid foundation for Z enterprise to rapidly reduce R&D costs and improve the quality and efficiency of product R&D.
