With the overall increase of China's economy and the increase of the proportion of foreign trade in the world economy,the voice of expecting China to become "the world factory" and "the world manufacturing center" is increasingly strong at home and abroad.All over the country have also proposed to become a manufacturing base,all kinds of forms indicate that the development of China's manufacturing industry has entered a new stage.Today's automobile and other manufacturing enterprises,in addition to the survival,are facing the big environment of surging market,increasingly updated technology,increasingly serious homogenization and diversified consumer demand;at the same time,they are facing problems such as insufficient labor force caused by the aging population,high cost input,waste and enterprise survival.In this environment,how to optimize the manufacturing process and save costs to maximize the utility has become a hot issue in the automobile manufacturing industry.More and more automobile manufacturing enterprises begin to look for advanced management methods and management concepts to improve the performance of enterprises.World class manufacturing(WCM)is a set of systematic,practical and effective advanced technology management method based on TPM,which integrates supply chain management,total quality management,strategic cost management,six sigma,lean production and other management elements.The implementation of world-class manufacturing practice is the focus of China's manufacturing strategy.It is of great significance to study the impact of world-class manufacturing practice on enterprises.GT company in this paper is a joint venture of German GT group and Jiangling.Since it was acquired by Magna,one of the largest auto parts manufacturers in the world in 2016,it has gradually implemented world-class manufacturing according to Magna(China)requirements,and has gradually been imitated by various auto parts manufacturing companies.In this paper,GT company's world-class manufacturing practice is selected for case analysis.From the perspective of Chinese and Western processes,business process re-engineering is used to make suggestions on process optimization.GT company puts forward corresponding improvement measures from the company's value outflow through the application of world-class manufacturing management system,combined with project management,process analysis,value flow analysis,total quality management and other tools.In terms of equipment efficiency,the group method is adopted to improve production efficiency.Through these measures,some non value-added activities or activities with small value-added are reduced,and a part of waste of redundant processes is reduced.To a certain extent,the continuous flow of production line and the shortening of average production cycle are promoted.However,after GT company introduced the management mode of world-class manufacturing,it did notfully adapt to the organizational mode and communication channel,which led to the formation of two sets of management modes within the enterprise,namely,the newly introduced world-class manufacturing management system and the traditional and original management system of the company.In this context,GT company's world-class manufacturing is facing great difficulties.Based on the theory of process re-engineering,this paper finds out that GT company has some problems in the process of implementing the world-class manufacturing practice management mode,such as unreasonable personnel structure,rough operator training system,part of the operation process and practice.In order to promote the dual development of equipment and employees,GT company has been improved in many aspects: introducing the concept of committee,integrating the scarce resources of the enterprise,implementing WCM process improvement,middle-level personnel promotion plan,etc.How to tap the development potential of enterprises and improve the organizational efficiency is a problem for all manufacturing enterprises.Looking forward to the future,the requirements of the market for the manufacturing industry will be more stringent,which requires suppliers to improve production flexibility,reduce production costs and speed up production.Only in this way can enterprises become the leader in the fierce market competition,and the world-class manufacturing system will play an increasingly important role in the development of manufacturing enterprises.
