With the continuous development of China's economy in recent years,the entire instrument and meter industry also has a significant development.And gas detector as an important branch of instrumentation,its application areas covering all aspects of industry,agriculture,transportation,science and technology,environmental protection,national defense,aerospace and daily life,etc.,is quite extensive.There are more and more company manufactures the same or similar products,competition is fierce.Because the industry is affected by external government regulation and market conditions for sustained growth,companies in order to ensure their own survival and higher profits,have to constantly develop new products to pursue sustained high profits.How to ensure the timely launch of new product projects becomes extremely important.In this background,how to ensure the timely release of new product projects becomes very important.Gas detector is a combination of electronic,mechanical and software products,product development there is no ready-made experience to refer to,gas detector as security products and product reliability requirements is very high,in the project development exist a variety of intricate parallel and serial task,all resources exist interdependent relationship.In this paper,the key chain technology is applied to the new product development project of gas detector.For gas detector development projects face a variety of problems,the M company detector gas development projects as the object,on the basis of current new product developing procedure,task of the project of gas detector for further decomposition,task analysis of time limit for a project,must under the resource constraint project schedule delays in the application of critical chain technology to resolve the.In identifying the critical chain method,the of the shortest time limit for a heuristic algorithm,and the introduction of risk coefficient method to determine the size of the buffer zone,through the real-time of the buffer monitoring,a buffer control mechanism,so as to effectively control the project schedule,to verify the validity of the critical chain technology.It provides a good reference and reference value for the new product development project of the gas detector in the future.
