Research On The Design Of Screens In Restaurant Spaces Based On Situation Construction

In the context of the experience economy,due to the diversification of consumer needs and the change of consumer attitudes,people’s demand for catering space has shifted from hunger to enjoyment,leisure and theme,and the catering space environment has also developed in a diversified direction,emphasising the user’s sense of experience in the catering space and integrating culture to make the catering space more connotative and meaningful.However,as an important part of the restaurant space-the screen,it has shown serious homogenisation,lack of innovation and personality and other related problems.This paper applies the contextual construction method to the design of screens in catering spaces to meet the emotional and personalised needs of users in catering spaces,in order to bring them a good emotional experience.The application of the contextual construction method to the design of screens in catering spaces is essentially a process of reconstructing the user experience,changing the designer’s traditional "object"-centric design thinking and linking the user and the elements of the catering space environment through screen products,in the hope that the screen products will meet the basic practical functions and allow the user to It is expected that the screen products will meet the basic practical functions,and allow users to gain a sense of pleasure and surprise in the process of using the screen products in the restaurant space,and enhance the user’s experience in the whole restaurant space,while the use of the contextual construction method in the design of the screens in the restaurant space can protect and inherit the traditional Chinese culture,and has positive significance for the development of the restaurant space industry.Based on the theory of contextual construction method,this paper explores the intrinsic relevance and value of introducing contextual construction method into the design of screens in catering spaces,and summarises the strategies in the design of screens in catering spaces under the contextual construction method,with a view to better guiding the practice of screen design in catering spaces.On the basis of clarifying the object,purpose,significance and main content of the research,the principles,elements and general processes of the theories related to the contextual construction method are studied,and the development history,types,aesthetic values and cultural connotations of screens are also explored,and the possibility of applying the contextual construction method to the design of screens in catering spaces is derived.Using questionnaires and interviews to research the users of screens in catering spaces,the product design contextual elements of screens in catering spaces are clarified and analysed and summarised one by one,summarising the opportunities for the design of screens in catering spaces under the contextual construction method.Finally,based on the previous research,the design procedures,principles and evaluation system of the contextual construction method in the design of screens in catering spaces are summarised,and the design strategies summarised are applied to the design of screens in Huizhou-style catering spaces as an example,elevating the design research at the level of abstract strategy to the level of concrete design practice.
