The new technological revolution represented by information network technology has become an important strategic resource for national economic and social development.As one of the traditional basic industries,if the port wants to stand and grow in the new market competition,it must give full play to the transformation and driving role of information technology on the port with the help of information network technology platform.With the development of the times,the time cycle accuracy of software projects is getting higher and higher.In more and more limited time,software projects are required to be developed and implemented with lower cost,higher quality and effect.However,due to the characteristics of the software development industry,the personal level,experience and ability of software engineers are uneven,and the quality of software project completion is closely related to the personal skills and experience of development engineers.The key chain method focuses on managing the priority of each process and the sequence of key resources according to the progress of software project before the start of software project,Determine the critical chain,artificial safety time and various buffers,and monitor the software project progress by viewing the consumption of buffer zone.Taking the Internet software project of the customer service platform of W port company as an example,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the traditional software project schedule management in detail.Aiming at these problems,resource classification and process activities of the software project management based on the critical chain method The identification of critical chain,the setting of buffer zone and the monitoring of buffer zone are deeply studied.The critical chain method is applied to the software project schedule management,which greatly reduces the project duration,reasonably and effectively allocates the project key resources,eliminates the impact of resource constraints such as key resources on the total project duration,and ensures the low-cost and high-quality on-time delivery of the software project,At the same time,compared with the results of traditional project schedule management,this paper analyzes the implementation and puts forward the further improvement direction of software project schedule management based on critical chain method.
