Considerable schedule plan and effective schedule control are the core objective of project schedule management. According to the existing problems of traditional schedule plan---- mainly concerned with the logical connection between the process, less consideration of project resource constraints and human behavior factors, resulting in the conflict of the parallel process resources. This article introduces a new method of project schedule management-critical chain project management; make the project schedule planning more practical needs, project implementation management is more feasible.This paper attempts to carry out the actual situation of the project of ZH#4, through the use of critical path method and other network planning techniques and key chain management method for the preparation of project progress plan to carry out a comparative study, analysis of the characteristics and advantages of key chain management methods. The traditional project schedule management has been set up to the time of the working hours in the estimation process, resulting in unnecessary waste. The core idea of the critical chain project management method is to use the risk aggregation principle in the project schedule planning, and to realize the project management, pay attention to resource constraints and human behavior factors, advocate eliminating the safety time. This paper constructs the control model of key chain project schedule management based on eliminating safety time, identifying critical chain, determining buffer size and managing buffer.
