Research On The Impact Of Listed Airport Enterprise’s Corporate Social Responsibility On Enterprise Performance

The relationship between corporate social responsibility(CSR)performance and corporate performance has always been a topic of great concern in the theoretical research on CSR.However,the academic community has not yet reached a consensus on whether there is a relationship between the two,especially in the case of civil airport enterprises.In fact,existing research has only confirmed that when Chinese airport enterprises fulfill their CSR responsibilities,if they ignore the important impact on corporate performance,they may miscalculate the economic value created by state-owned enterprises in fulfilling their CSR responsibilities in more aspects.It is noteworthy that in the current literature on the relationship between the fulfillment of CSR responsibilities by Chinese enterprises and their operating efficiency and performance,there is a lack of in-depth thinking about the nature and obvious characteristics of the industry in which the enterprise operates,which is not fully taken into account.On this basis,there is even less consideration of the impact on the comprehensive performance of the enterprise when combined with the actual operation of the enterprise.Therefore,this article takes airport enterprises in civil aviation transportation enterprises as a representative,fully utilizes the relevant theories of CSR to analyze,explores the impact of fulfilling airport enterprises’ CSR responsibilities on their comprehensive performance,and discusses the practical application based on empirical results.The actual effectiveness of corporate social responsibility initiatives and measures on business operations directly affects the company’s attitude towards continuous responsibility and investment management direction.The research on corporate social responsibility in China’s civil transport airports started relatively late,and the disclosure of responsibility reports is low.Clarifying the relationship between airport corporate social responsibility and performance can not only provide clear theoretical guidance for airport companies to better assume social responsibility,but also enhance the core competitiveness of airport companies based on this.Based on the above theoretical foundation and practical situation,this article takes China’s listed airport enterprises as the research object,expands the thinking approach according to the characteristics of the civil transport airport industry,in order to further clarify the measurement dimensions of airport corporate social responsibility,and attempts to deeply analyze the following two aspects to explain the mutual influence between airport corporate social responsibility and corporate performance.First,whether the fulfillment of safety responsibilities is an important dimension affecting the social responsibility of airport enterprises,and how to reflect the indicators of aviation safety dimension in the social responsibility of airport enterprises in a more comprehensive and reasonable way;Secondly,whether the operational capability indicators of airport enterprises can be used as an important component of measuring airport enterprise performance,similar to financial operating indicators,solvency indicators,and other data.Focusing on the above issues,this article uses factor analysis to comprehensively analyze the comprehensive performance evaluation indicators and main factors of listed airport enterprises based on the core competency theory of enterprises.Based on the stakeholder theory,it discusses the dimensions of measuring the performance of airport enterprises in fulfilling corporate social responsibility.After fully demonstrating the significant role of aviation safety dimension,which is a representative indicator in the industry,in examining the impact of airport enterprises’ social responsibility performance on corporate performance,this article studies and analyzes the impact of airport enterprises’ social responsibility performance on corporate performance from the seven dimensions of airport enterprises’ social responsibility performance.The empirical results show that the social responsibility of listed airport enterprises has a positive and significant impact on corporate performance,and actively fulfilling corporate social responsibility can significantly enhance the core competitiveness of airport enterprises.From the perspectives of safe operation,service quality,operational efficiency,employee recognition,and optimizing capital structure,continuously improving public service levels and comprehensive governance capabilities is an effective way to ensure that airport enterprises enhance their business management efficiency and achieve sustainable development.
