Research On The Correlation Between The Corporate Social Responsibility And Performance Of Chinese Airport Companies

Since the concept of corporate social responsibility was put forward in the west in the 1920 s,the performance of corporate social responsibility to stakeholders has been widely concerned.At the same time,the government has issued a series of documents to standardize and guide enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities.As a large public transport infrastructure,the airport has the dual nature of public welfare and enterprise.The commonweal nature requires the enterprises to take the social responsibility actively,while the enterprise attribute of the airport makes the enterprises seek to maximize their own interests.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the correlation between CSR and performance in the airport industry.Firstly,this paper analyzes the domestic and foreign literature on the study of corporate social responsibility and corporate performance,and summarizes the current mainstream social responsibility evaluation and corporate performance evaluation related theories.Secondly,it describes and analyzes the status of CSR and corporate performance in China's airport industry and summarizes the existing problems.Finally,the model is constructed and empirical research is conducted.In the empirical model design,considering the characteristics of the airport industry,this paper choose the enterprise relevant financial indicators and production capacity index by using factor analysis method for comprehensive evaluation of enterprise performance based on the stakeholder theory to choose seven dimensions to measure of corporate social responsibility fulfillment,multivariate regression model is established for the airport industry corporate social responsibility and performance correlation has carried on the empirical research.The empirical results show that the impact of airport enterprises on the performance of different stakeholders is different.Airport enterprises actively maintain aviation safety and strengthen the construction of hub airports will improve the performance of the airport industry.
