| From the traditional perspective,corporate social responsibility is to maximize economic benefits.In recent years,with the deepening of economic globalization,international competition has become increasingly fierce,and academic and business circles have paid more attention to the research of corporate social responsibility,which makes the connotation of corporate social responsibility constantly improved and enriched.Since the reform and opening up,China’s economy has achieved leapfrog development.Its economic aggregate has leapt to the second place in the world,and its development achievements have attracted the attention of the world.Under China’s unique economic system,state-owned enterprises control the lifeblood of the national economy and are the "ballast" and "stabilizer" of China’s market economy.While pursuing the maximization of their own economic interests,they attach importance to and take the lead in performing other corporate social responsibilities,which plays a vital role in guiding and driving other elements of the socialist market economy.The performance of social responsibility by state-owned enterprises highlights political attributes.As an important guarantee for the country to deal with emergencies and defuse security risks,such enterprises should be "the biggest of the country" and assume other social responsibilities besides economic responsibilities.Specifically,from the macro level,it plays a role in stabilizing social employment and promoting economic development.From the micro level,it protects the rights and interests of shareholders,consumers,employees and other stakeholders associated with the enterprise.However,from the current situation of state-owned enterprises in fulfilling their social responsibilities,affected by such factors as rigid internal system,low efficiency,poor management and low vitality,the subjective initiative of fulfilling social responsibilities is not strong,which has damaged the rights and interests of enterprise stakeholders to varying degrees.Therefore,by taking a state-owned enterprise as an example,studying the problems existing in the enterprise’s social responsibility performance and putting forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions,it will further enrich the domestic research on the state-owned enterprise’s social responsibility performance,and also provide reference and reference for solving the improvement of such enterprise’s social responsibility performance ability.This paper takes the performance of corporate social responsibility of state-owned enterprise X Hydropower Station as an example.The enterprise belongs to the third level subsidiary of a central management enterprise in the hydropower industry,and is located in the remote western region at the junction of Yunnan Province and Sichuan Province.Because the enterprise is at the bottom of the organizational structure of the central management enterprise,the plant is located in a remote and far away from the mainstream power supply market,and is affected by the internal influence of the enterprise in its development,it only pays attention to maximizing the economic benefits of the enterprise and neglects to perform other social responsibilities,which damages the rights and interests of some stakeholders of the enterprise,thus hindering the development and reform of the enterprise.As a state-owned enterprise in the hydropower industry,X Hydropower Station,by analyzing the problems in the process of fulfilling its social responsibility,focuses on the problems and puts forward solutions to optimize the ability of enterprises to fulfill their social responsibility,so as to enrich and improve the theory of academic research on the social responsibility of state-owned enterprises,and also provide a reference for the decision-making of the enterprise. |
