Abstract/Summary:
Museums are an important part of public buildings, carrying education, collection, exhibition, entertainment and other functions, and are very important for cultural exchange and transmission. As an important public space of the museum, the garden space of the museum is an important place to generate interactive sexual behavior, promote cultural exchanges and value transmission, and there is a relationship between the garden landscape and its interactive behavior.Starting from the perspective of interactivity, combined with symbolic interaction theory and environmental behavior theory, this thesis annotates the interactive behavior in the museum garden space, uses the viewshed and convex space analysis theory in spatial syntax to draw models for the feasible layer, the control layer without plant elements, the non-deciduous season and the visible layer in the deciduous season, selects the five characteristic values of spatial Connectivity Value,Control Value,Average Depth Value,Integration Value and Intelligibility Value, and uses Auto CAD,Depthmap+,and SPSS The 26.0software performs statistical analysis of the data and discusses the relationship between the organizational characteristics of the museum garden space and interactive behavior. The main findings are as follows:(1)There are differences in interactive behavior in the museum garden space at different seasons, and there are temporal and spatial preferences.Activity data were investigated in four sample museums and 5,022 activity data were collected, and the types of interactive behaviors could be mainly divided into two categories: spontaneity(interaction between people and things)and social(interaction between people),with the frequency of spontaneous activities reaching the highest at 2p.m.and the highest frequency of social activities at 11 a.m.(2)The seasonal phase change of plants in the museum garden space will cause changes in the field of view, affect the spatial characteristics, and thus affect the interactive behavior. The Visibility Graph Analysis in spatial syntax was used to analyze the viewshed differences between the deciduous season and the non-deciduous season, and the differences affected the spatial Connectivity Value,Average Depth Value, and Integration Value, and converted the spatial Intelligibility Value from the Connectivity Value and the Integration Value, and the high shade of plants in the non-deciduous season, the user’s comprehensibility to the spatial system was reduced, and the frequency of interactive behavior in the space was also reduced.(3)There is a correlation between interactive behavior and spatial connection value, average depth value and integration degree, which can quantitatively express and guide the design and application of museum garden space.Using the convex space model analysis in spatial syntax, through the statistical analysis of the delineated 298 convex spaces and behavior data,it is found that there is a correlation between the spatial organization feature values and the interactive behavior, there is a positive correlation with the spatial Connectivity Value and the correlation coefficient is relatively low(0.2-0.6),and the correlation coefficient is negatively correlated with the spatial Average Depth Value(0.3-0.7)and the correlation coefficient is relatively high, and the spatial Integration Value is positively correlated(0.2-0.7).Aiming at the interactive behavior in the museum garden space in Hangzhou, this study uses quantitative indicators to explore the correlation between interactive behavior and spatial characteristics, expands the characteristic quantification method of museum garden space, and the research results provide a scientific theoretical basis for the future design, construction, use and management of museum garden space.
