Research On The Development Strategy Of QY Power Company Based On The "dual Carbon" Goa

Since General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed the grand goal of achieving carbon summit before 2030 and realizing carbon neutralization by 2060,power system of China is switching to a mainly renewable energy structure,and energy supply construction is transforming and upgrading to a wind-solar-hydrothermal power system.At the same time,system reform of electric power is deepening rapidly,policies and regulations of renewable energy development are changing repeatedly,so that the project feasibility of renewable energy is highly uncertain.In the circumstances,a power generation company should focus on how to cope with the market competition,how to adapt to external conditions,and how to formulate a suitable development strategy.This has become a major issue that needs to be studied and solved urgently.The aim of this paper is to analyze the internal and external environment faced by QY Power Co.,and then formulate the company’s development strategy and propose safeguard measures.Literature analysis,comparative analysis,case analysis are mainly used.PEST,Porter’s Five Forces Model,SWOT and QSPM matrix were applied.The result of this paper is: QY Power Co.should choose growth strategy.Specifically,QY Power Co.should take the advantage of cascade hydropower plants which are already built on Beipanjiang River,and further build up a water-wind-photovoltaic base.Moreover,QY Power Co.should focus on optimizing management structure,improving scientific and technological level,training employees,widening the channel for investment and financing.
