Research On The Design Optimization Of Rural Public Space In Xiamen Suburbs From The Perspective Of Community Building

The promotion of urbanization development has a great impact on the development of rural space in the suburbs,such as changing the spatial pattern and landscape of rural areas,changing the original spatial characteristics of rural areas and replacing the appearance of semi-urban and semi-rural areas.In this process,the development of public space in suburban villages of cities is prone to problems such as spatial contraction,disappearance of characteristics,and decline of vitality,while rural public space carries the historical and cultural accumulation of the countryside,maintains the emotions of the rural community,and occupies an important position in the construction of the rural system,and should actively promote the rational creation,renewal and optimization of rural public space.In the rapid development and expansion of Xiamen,its suburban villages also have a typical problem of the decline of public space,Xiamen’s overall urban environment is beautiful and economically and socially developed,and rural public space should be optimized through reasonable design and construction.In recent years,"community building" has been carried out in China’s Taiwan,Japan and other places,and has achieved good results in rural construction and public space transformation,providing a good reference for mainland rural construction.In the renovation and construction of rural areas near Xiamen,there are also cases of design and transformation carried out in the form of community building.This study analyzes the status,existing problems and causes of the development of rural public space in Xiamen from the perspective of community building,and studies the methods,paths and effects of community building intervention in the design and optimization of rural public space in suburban areas.This study first analyzes the design concept,model evolution and practice of community building through literature research and case analysis at home and abroad,and analyzes the mechanism of community building design concept in interfering with suburban rural public space.Secondly,through the investigation of the current situation of rural public space in the suburbs of Xiamen,the development status and existing problems were analyzed,and the design concepts and principles and methods of community construction with regional characteristics were summarized,such as the mechanism and path of community construction to intervene in the transformation of rural public space,design characteristics and rectification mode.Then,taking the village of Wugu Village in the suburbs of Xiamen as an example,the design case practice and strategy research were carried out.In terms of design strategy,it proposes to uphold the five principles of locality,diversity,integrity,publicity and demonstration,and cultivate a rural cultural system to maintain the sustainability of the countryside;In the design of spatial form,comprehensive consideration should be given to taking into account multiple aspects,and the regional culture,spatial function and historical context should be fully excavated and reasonably planned and protected;In landscape construction,the ecological environment of the village should be maintained and the regional characteristics of the village should be created.Finally,the strategic suggestions for community creation to promote the optimization of rural public space in urban suburbs are summarized,and this paper provides practical reference for the development of rural public space in other regions and the strategic work of rural revitalization in China.
