Research On The Space Compensation Model Of Street Space In Urban High Density Environment

China’s rapid urbanization process has brought together unprecedented rich resources for cities.At the same time,city space is also occupied by a large number of buildings,and the street space resources urgently needed by the public are increasingly scarce.In order to actively respond to and solve the drawbacks brought by the urban high density environment,architects of the past and today coexisted in the process of theoretical and practical exploration.However,both the early stage of utopian imagination and the later stage of implementation are inseparable from the high density strategies at the architectural design level.Aiming at the problems existing in the street space under the urban high density environment,this paper firstly digs the current problems through field research and questionnaires,summarizes them,and formulates design goals.Then,according to the design goals,the architectural design strategies and methods of street space compensation mode are proposed from the three major modes of opening and publicization of street space on the ground,multidimensional aerial street,morphological strain of street space in buildings and the impact of virtual space.Then,from the perspective of system mechanism,the important role of various related mechanisms is analyzed,and the invisible logic of street space generation is explored,in order to truly realize the systematic improvement of the environmental quality of street space in the urban high density environment.The full text consists of five chapters.The first chapter presents the background of the research,summarizes the research results related to urban high density environment,street space,and space compensation,and defines the object of this research and the concepts involved in the paper.The second chapter analyzes the relevant cases of the spatial compensation mode in the urban high density environment from three aspects:the enlightenment of the unbuilt plan,the release of the ground space,and the aerial street,and analyzes the cultural differences between the East and the West in the street space.The third chapter investigates the street space by means of field research and questionnaires,excavates the current problems and the space demands behind them,and then proposes the design goals of the space compensation model.The fourth chapter puts forward the architectural space design strategy and method of the street space compensation mode according to the design goal.The fifth chapter analyzes the system mechanism related to the street space compensation mode,excavates the internal logic of space formation,and provides a guarantee mechanism for the application of this mode.Finally,the paper summarizes and prospects the street space compensation model,and expounds the innovation of this study and the direction worthy of further research.
