With the rapid development of the photovoltaic industry in the age of globalization and network information,the importance of delivery cycle in market competition is becoming increasingly prominent due to the shorter product life cycle.A shorter delivery cycle leads to faster market share acquisition and higher customer satisfaction,which in turn promotes the better and faster development and growth of enterprises.To achieve a shorter delivery cycle,it is essential to adopt a global perspective and systematically identify the factors that impact punctual product delivery at every stage of the production process,and then solve the relevant problems accordingly.By reviewing the research status of delivery cycles both domestically and internationally,this study focuses on optimizing the delivery cycle of XK Company’s photovoltaic inverter products.Using tools such as value stream mapping and theories such as lean production and production planning and control,the study analyzes the problems in the delivery cycle of XK Company’s photovoltaic inverter products,including immature information systems,low production flexibility,and inventory backlog.The main causes of these problems are identified,including defects in XK Company’s production model,inadequate supply-demand coordination,lengthy procurement cycles,and various issues during the production process and research and development phases.Based on theories and methods such as lean production and production planning and control,the study proposes optimization strategies and improvement plans for the delivery cycle of photovoltaic inverters.These include improving production models,enhancing supply-demand coordination,implementing lean management,and establishing a research and development design pre-stage.The study also provides measures for personnel,resources,systems,and incentive mechanisms to ensure the successful implementation of the proposed optimization plans.Finally,a comparison is made between the effects before and after th e implementation of the optimization plan.Through the implementation of this delivery cycle optimization plan,the delivery cycle of XK Company’s products has been shortened,exceeding customer expectations.
