With the deepening of economic globalization, the competition of globalmanufacturing industry becomes increasingly fierce. Meanwhile, the manufacturingindustry of China is facing a very serious situation. Currently, many foreign companiesare using and developing the advanced management of lean production. They havegained huge success. However, the production management mode of many domesticmanufacturers is still stuck in the traditional mode of mass production, which results inserious waste and low productivity. Only by learning and introducing the advancedproduction mode, can the companies gain a foothold in the fierce competitiveenvironment.The company in the case uses the traditional production mode of mass production.In recent years, since the market pressures continuously increase, the efficiency ofenterprises becomes lower and lower and the problems of production management areincreasingly prominent. Therefore, the administrators have clearly recognized thenecessity of lean reform. This paper, takes this company as an example, proposes a setof plans for lean improvement of production line. The details are as follows:To start with, the paper draws status fuzzy value stream mapping throughanalyzing production status. After a brief introduction of the relevant theory about leanproduction and fuzzy value stream, relevant data is collected at the scene based onproduction status of the company. Then, status fuzzy value stream mapping is drawnaccording to the collected information and the situation of production line. In addition,this paper summarizes the existing problems preliminary.Secondly, the issues of status fuzzy value stream mapping are improved. Thispaper analyzes and improves the issues existing in production status with the integrateduse of IE technology and lean production technologies such as balanced production,one-piece flow, pull production, SMED, etc. Next, on the basis of improvement, the future fuzzy value stream mapping is drawn and the effects of improvement areanalyzed.Finally, the improved fuzzy value stream mapping is simulated by Flexsimsimulation software. This paper, according to the procedure of system simulation, buildsa model of improved ideal production process using the entities of Flexsim simulationsoftware. The simulation model is run after setting the parameters of simulation model.And the feasibility of improved plans is verified by observing the running of simulationmodel and the output of the simulation results.
