Research On Activation Design Of Idle Houses In Fuzhou Traditional Villages Under The Guidance Of Traditional Cultural Revival

Traditional villages,as the root of Chinese traditional culture for 5,000 years,play a vital role in the strategy of cultural power and rural revitalization.In many places,the development of traditional villages is limited to simple tourism development mode;Idle houses in traditional villages are left unchecked or simply listed for protection;The inheritance of traditional culture contained in traditional villages is limited to simple record filing.Therefore,we should take traditional culture as the core,idle traditional houses as carriers,and endow traditional villages with a new industrial structure to promote the revival of traditional culture and rural revitalization of traditional villages.Fuzhou,as a famous historical and cultural city,is the most densely distributed area of traditional villages in Jiangxi Province,so Fuzhou is the research scope of this paper.Combined with the revival of traditional culture and the activation of idle houses in traditional villages in Fuzhou,this paper has done the following research work:The first part summarizes and combs the traditional cultural resources of Fuzhou.According to the current situation of traditional cultural revival in Fuzhou,this paper sorts out four problems of traditional cultural revival: villagers’ lack of cultural confidence,creative talents’ difficulty in taking root,insufficient innovation of cultural products and lack of cultural tourism experience.In the second part,according to the examples of the transformation of old or idle buildings in rural areas by domestic architects combined with local culture,five types of buildings that can be transformed into idle houses based on traditional culture are summarized.It also analyzes the feasibility of the above five types of architectural functions to solve the problem of traditional cultural revival in Fuzhou.The third part sorts out the distribution of 96 traditional villages in Fuzhou,selects 7 representative traditional villages for field investigation and mapping,and summarizes the characteristics of the layout,structure,indoor components,facade features and external space of idle houses in Fuzhou traditional villages.According to the form of patio space,the idle houses in traditional villages in Fuzhou are divided into three categories: single-detached,double-entry patio and multi-entry patio.Secondly,the demand and space demand of four groups of people in traditional villages,such as villagers,tourists,makers and scholars,are summarized,and the direction of building function activation to be discussed in this paper is extracted.The fourth part,first of all,puts forward the principles that should be followed for the activation of idle houses in traditional villages in Fuzhou.Secondly,according to the building scale,geographical location,natural landscape and cultural resources of idle houses in Fuzhou traditional villages,the activation target of idle houses is matched and analyzed.Finally,from the aspects of plane function renewal,adding toilet modules,improving lighting,improving the performance of enclosed components,and improving the visibility of the facade,the corresponding design methods are put forward for the activation of experience culture and leisure buildings.This paper puts forward the corresponding design methods for the activation of creative cultural office buildings from the aspects of plane function updating,adding toilet modules,increasing lighting,increasing jumping space,improving the performance of enclosed components,and adding rest space.In the fifth part,two idle houses in Fujia Village,Tiannan,Chenyou Village,Songhu Township,Linchuan District,Fuzhou City are selected for design practice,and the idle house Fuxiang House is transformed into an ear-collecting hall by combining the traditional ear-collecting skills of the intangible heritage culture in the village,and the idle house is transformed into a writer’s studio by combining the talent culture of the village academy.The feasibility of the activation design method proposed in the fourth part is verified by the design practice of two idle houses.With the increasing urbanization rate in China,a large number of rural people will inevitably flow into cities and towns,which will lead to a further increase in the number of rural idle houses.Reasonable utilization of idle resources such as idle rural houses will not only help to promote rural revitalization,but also avoid resource waste,achieve energy conservation and emission reduction,and contribute to the realization of the national carbon-neutral plan of peak carbon dioxide emissions in2030 and 2060.
