Strategic Research And Practical Application Of Fuzziness In Contemporary Architectural Space

This article attempts to summarize three types of spatial fuzziness from the initial characteristics of space and the development context of "spatial fuzziness" from modernism to modern Japanese architects.With the help of the relevant theoretical achievements of perceptual phenomenology on perception,body and movement,and the introduction of relational logic,the corresponding specific design strategies are derived.Finally,combined with their own creative practice,this paper explores a fuzzy design method and strategy based on spatial relationship.Thesis is divided into three parts.The first part,after clarifying the relevant discussion concepts,discusses the context of the emergence,inheritance and development of spatial fuzziness from modernist architects to Japanese modern and contemporary architects,and obtains three spatial fuzziness’ spatial hierarchical type characteristics based on interface space and path(spatial interface digestion,spatial virtual real transformation,spatial trend flow).Then,with the help of the introduction of relationship in perceptual phenomenology,we get the specific spatial operation strategies of the above three types.The second part combs and analyzes the selected cases of relevant works of Japanese contemporary architects based on the discussion of the characteristics of three space types and combined with specific cases.According to the characteristics of different s pace types,this paper classifies and summarizes from four strategic levels: the logic of space itself,the order between spaces,the relationship between space and man and the relationship between space and nature,and strengthens the understanding of space fuzzy design strategy with the help of such a comparative form.The third part summarizes the design principles from the macro level of man and nature,architecture and space,body and environment,housing and city.Finally,using the practical cases and space design experiments participated and designed by the author,this paper discusses the potential and connotation of space fuzziness in the specific design.
