| In recent years, the integration of traditional culture into architectural design has become a hot issue being discussed. However, instead of seeking the essential spaces, the architects seem to only imitate the form and exterior. This research explores the way of space organization of Chinese classical gardens, combined with the analyze of evolution and feasible features of the contemporary architecture, from two aspects: "spatial ambiguity" and "spatial cohesion".The dissertation consists of four parts. The first part is the introduction, including the research background, the conceptual interpretation, the research methods and the framework. The second part analyzes the way to achieve the spatial ambiguity through the operation of scene layers in the view of static perspective. The way of digestion, stratification and fusion can be used to make the viewer obtain a blurred spatial perception,so as to stimulate the viewer’s cognitive space autonomy,in order to expand the depth of space in the static point of view. The third one seeks how to use space conversion to realize spatial cohesion. The conversion can be achieved by macro or micro ways, focusing on performing a series or parallel conversion of the scene layers on the basis of the macroscopic spatial transformation structure,so that the viewer will obtain the spatial holistic cognition owing to the subjective reorganization and collage of scene layer in the dynamic point of view. The last part comes to the conclusion and outlook. The second and third parts are the core chapters, which make a comparison between the classical gardens and contemporary architecture,so as to offer reference and inspiration for future development of Chinese architecture. |
