A Study On The Livability Evaluation And Improvement Strategy Of Traditional Folk Culture Villages

In recent years,more and more attention has been paid to the development of traditional villages.The government has also taken various effective measures to protect them,including the repair,reconstruction and improvement of village space,historical residential buildings,road system,infrastructure and other physical forms.However,in the process of traditional village protection,many restrictions on construction activities also conflict with residents’ yearning and pursuit of modern life.On the other hand,the important deployment of building ecological livable villages in the "Rural revitalization Strategy" makes the livable construction of traditional villages more and more widely concerned.Therefore,the study expects to understand the connotation and problems existing in the construction of traditional village livable by clearly distinguishing the particularity of livable in the protection and development of traditional villages.Based on the quantitative evaluation of village livable,improvement strategies are proposed according to local conditions,so as to promote the sustainable development of traditional villages.This paper first summarizes the theoretical research results and practical experience of traditional village livability at home and abroad,and then defines and analyzes the connotation of traditional village livability combined with the concept characteristics of traditional village and the concept connotation of livability,and further distinguishes the particularity of traditional village livability relative to urban communities and general rural livability.On the basis of the above research,the evaluation index system of traditional village livable was constructed,including ecological environment,living environment,cultural environment,economic environment and social environment,and the weight and scoring standard of each index in the evaluation system of traditional village livable were determined by analytic hierarchy process and Delphi method.Finally,the research selects Qiqiao traditional villages with the characteristics of typical folk culture-type traditional villages as empirical villages,evaluates their livability construction status,and puts forward corresponding improvement strategies.In the empirical study,through field observation and literature review,the basic location,population and society,ecological environment,living conditions,facilities and services,cultural development and economic and industrial construction status of Qiqiao traditional village are understood.The basic data were obtained through field interviews with the villagers and staff of Qiqiao traditional village,and questionnaires were issued to evaluate the livable construction of Qiqiao traditional village.The evaluation results show that the overall construction quality of qiqiao traditional village’s livability is not high;In the sub-items,the construction level of living environment and ecological environment is relatively high,while the construction level of human environment,economic environment and social environment is low.In order to improve the livability of Qiqiao traditional village,it is necessary to scientifically plan farmland landscape,vegetation landscape and water landscape to increase landscape diversity.In terms of living environment,Qiqiao Village needs to improve living conditions and facilities and services.In terms of culture,it is necessary to repair the cultural ecological space of villages,and create cultural exhibition theme routes to enhance villagers’ and tourists’ experience of village culture.The economy should optimize the industrial structure and tap the development potential;In the social aspect,the main role of villagers should be brought into play to solve the problem of insufficient endogenous power,and the multi-main body coordinated governance mechanism should be constructed.
