Protection Evaluation And Strategy Research Of Traditional Villages In Zhangjiakou

Traditional villages are the source and carrier of China's excellent traditional culture.They carry the history and culture of the Chinese ethnic farming civilization and have great protection value.According to relevant statistics,with the acceleration of urbanization in China,a large number of villages are rapidly disappearing,and some traditional villages with preserved value are also being destroyed or on the verge of disappearing.By the beginning of 2017,4,153 villages across the country had been totally selected into the list of traditional Chinese villages in four batches.There were 145 villages in Hebei Province and 47 among them were in Zhangjiakou.Zhangjiakou City has a long history and splendid culture.There are a large number of traditional villages dotted on the land of 36,800 square kilometers.The types of these villages are various,including military forts,caves,and courtyards.Parts of them are well protected,and have value of research and retention.In recent years,the “beautiful village” construction campaign has improved the production and living environment in some rural areas and changed the looks of the countryside.Especially the rural revitalization strategy proposed by the 19 th National Congress has brought new opportunities for the development of rural areas.However,when the rural construction is growing steadily,a large number of villages were destroyed,including some traditional villages.At the same time,a large number of young people start to leave the countryside and enter the city due to the urbanization.The hollow villages are lack of vitality and development power.This has also influenced the protection of the traditional historical and cultural resources of the village and the continuation and inheritance of traditional production and lifestyle.Under this background,the urgent problems we should solve are how to maintain the overall pattern of traditional villages in Zhangjiakou City and how to develop traditional villages.In order to effectively protect Zhangjiakou's rich and precious traditional villages and their cultural heritage,play the active role of traditional villages in the future development of Zhangjiakou City,and especially revitalize the vitality of traditional villages,we should make a research on the overall protection of traditional villages in Zhangjiakou City,and explore the strategies and measures of the protection and development of traditional villages.In this paper,the author tries to evaluate and study the traditional village protection system in Zhangjiakou City by analytic hierarchy process,and discusses the protection of traditional villages in Zhangjiakou City.In this paper,the author will explore the cultural characteristics of the village and summarize the historical reasons and cultural values of the village formation and development,through the analysis of the status quo,distribution characteristics and formation factors of 47 villages in the list of traditional Chinese villages in Zhangjiakou City.Then,based on the current national famous towns and villages and traditional village evaluation elements,and combined with the characteristics of Zhangjiakou traditional villages,the author will construct an evaluation index system with local characteristics from three major items(village traditional buildings(groups),village site selection and layout,living environment and Intangible cultural heritage)and 16 sub-items.Through the analysis of the scores of evaluation factors,the author will summarize the distribution characteristics and protection value of traditional villages in Zhangjiakou City,construct the protection structure and system of traditional villages in Zhangjiakou City,and propose the targeted protection strategies to guide the protection and development of villages.At the same time,this study can be extended to the protection of traditional villages that have not been included in the list of traditional Chinese villages,and also provide the basis and reference for the next vi llages that have declared the conditions of traditional Chinese villages.
