Research On The Renewal Of Urban Historical Streets And Alleys In Chengdu

As a special cultural heritage,historical streets and alleys are the main material carriers of urban life,economy,culture and transportation,and their renewal is not only the continuation of regional history,culture and humanistic memory,but also promotes the balanced development of the region.Based on the theories of organic renewal,sustainable development,street aesthetics,and environmental psychology,this paper takes the historical streets and alleys within the second ring road of Chengdu as the research object,and conducts field research on the samples of streets and alleys,summarizes the current situation of the renewal of historical streets and alleys in Chengdu,and proposes update strategies on this basis.The following conclusions are mainly obtained:(1)Through reading relevant literature combined with offline investigation,78 updated historical streets and alleys were selected from 480 existing historical streets and alleys as research objects and 16 streets and alleys samples were identified for detailed analysis,and three types of residential,commercial and cultural types were obtained,and the three renewal modes of government leadership,government guidance-enterprise undertaking,and government-enterprise-resident multi-party participation were summarized.(2)The renewal principles,renewal methods and renewal measures in the updated historical streets and alleys of Chengdu are summarized.The renewal principles are "repairing the old as the old,inheriting in an orderly manner","less demolition and more change,the integration of the old and the new","culture first,diversified development","multi-party participation,co-construction and sharing","seeing the seam and inserting green,the economy is beautiful","eclectic,integrated";the update methods include: "protection","retention","change","demolition","increase";the renewal measures include:the optimization of the base surface,the rectification of the fa(?)ade,the improvement of facilities,the improvement of greening,the refinement of nodes,the increase of the readability of street culture,The function of the street and alley is filled in seven aspects.(3)A questionnaire survey was conducted on three different types of street users of tourists,residents and merchants,and the respondents were satisfied with the overall impression,landscape transformation,functional bearing and cultural expression of the street and alley samples,and the preferences and needs of different groups were analyzed.(4)Derive the theoretical framework of Chengdu’s urban historical street and alley renewal,summarize the principles of future historical street and alley renewal,namely "step by step","principle of adapting to local conditions","integral principle","pluralism principle" and "aesthetic principle",and put forward the method of residential historical street renewal,that is,1.optimize the living environment and promote the renewal of life;2.Continue neighborhood emotions and promote humanistic development.3.Improve existing functions and improve the quality of life.Commercial-type historical streets and alleys are updated methods,namely: 1.lean street and alley landscapes to create dynamic scenes;2.pay attention to market culture and improve cultural influence;3.Introduce diversified formats and expand functional bearing.The renewal methods of cultural historical streets and alleys are: 1.retain the pattern of streets and alleys and shape the characteristic style;2.meet the spiritual needs and enhance the connotation of the city;3.Pay attention to cultural integration and drive overall development.
