Research On Micro-renewal Of Living Streets And Alleys In The Old City Of Baoding

As a famous historical and cultural city,Baoding has important research value in history,architecture,culture,and economy.Due to the modern development of the city,the living streets and lanes of the old city have become a space of low quality and frequent problems.The streets and lanes of the old city are the material carriers that carry culture and life along with the development of the city.Therefore,the micro-renewal of the streets and lanes of the old city is an indispensable factor for the dynamic maintenance of the city itself and the gradual improvement of the quality of life of the people.This article combines field research methods,literature analysis methods,quantitative analysis methods,case analysis methods,and interdisciplinary research methods to sort out,summarize,and summarize theoretical research status at home and abroad to provide theoretical support for the research objects.Through the analysis and study of domestic and foreign cases,three renewal models are summarized as follows:street and lane classification,continuation of urban context,and restoration of architectural texture,which are convenient to guide the follow-up research of this article.Through the investigation and analysis of the current situation of life-type streets and lanes in the old city of Baoding,the historical evolution of the development of the old city of Baoding is sorted out,the overall situation of the old city is clarified,and many problems existing in the streets and lanes of the old city are listed.Starting from the remaining problems,this paper proposes a micro-renewal strategy that includes the principles of integrity,authenticity,characteristics,small-scale principles,and humanization principles,which are applicable to living streets and lanes in the old city of Baoding.According to the subject and object of the micro-renewal and the participation mechanism,the targeted micro-renewal design is carried out according to different functional types of streets and lanes,and innovative methods and policy measures and coordination mechanisms for the micro-renewal of streets and lanes in the old city of Baoding are proposed.At the end of the study,the micro-renewal design of the three representative plots in the old city:Zhili Governor’s Office to Gulianhuachi area,Huaijun Gongsuo to Qinghe Road Office area,and Beidajie Shizhu Street area,collected data through interviews.Combining the macro-level planning and positioning,in-depth analysis of the current situation of the three plots to summarize the advantages and disadvantages,and create cultural and creative spaces,narrative spaces,and landscape walking paths for the three plots according to their characteristics.From the macro to the micro,the micro-renewal design in the context of the old city,environmental quality,public space,street and lane traffic,street and lane architecture,urban furniture,etc.,awakens the city context,enhances the vitality of the ancient city,builds an ecological ancient city,and integrates theories Combining with practice,it provides reference for the subsequent micro-renewal construction of streets and lanes in the old city of Baoding.
