Research On The Protection And Spatial Optimization Design Of Historic Streets From The Perspective Of "Urban Renewal"

In the past few decades,all parts of the country have actively built cities under the general trend of development,and China’s urbanization development and urban construction have made remarkable achievements.However,in the process of building cities,many problems have also arisen,such as: the destruction of historical buildings in the process of transformation,the lack of sense of belonging in the city,and the chaos of the urban ecosystem.Among them,the historical street,as a city’s cultural precipitation and historical continuation,carries the memory of generations of people,but in the process of urban construction,there is a phenomenon of demolition and construction or being forgotten.In the new era of urban development,in response to a series of problems in urban construction at this stage,people have begun to think about the transformation of urban construction methods,and how to improve urban quality through urban renewal has become a hot topic in the current society.This paper is mainly divided into three parts,first based on the theme of "urban renewal" and the relevant theoretical research of historical streets,the dilemma faced by historical buildings and street space is analyzed,and then through the analysis and summary of the transformation cases of historical streets at home and abroad,the ideas of historical street protection and renewal are expanded,and the relevant data of Wuhan Lifen are studied to prepare for the subsequent protection and optimization design of Lifen.Finally,taking the historical and cultural street of Wuhan Tongxingli as the research object,through the field investigation of Wuhan Tongxingli,we can understand the overall planning of the street and the needs of residents.Under the guiding ideology of "urban renewal",the protection and optimization design direction of Tongxingli public space is summarized.From the perspective of urban renewal mode transformation,this paper attempts to combine the design principles of urban fabric restoration and spatial function reconstruction,and advocate public participation in management to improve the living environment.Through the artistic transformation strategy,the vitality of the historical building and the space where it is located is continued,and it strives to provide new design ideas in the optimization design of historical street space from the perspective of "urban renewal" in China.
