| In recent years,China’s overall automobile market has been weak,coupled with the outbreak of the epidemic,automobile manufacturing,export trade,market sales and other aspects have been seriously affected.Since the outbreak of the epidemic,Company Z’s sales performance has become worse and worse,and Company Z has also accumulated a large amount of steel inventory,which has made the company’s financial pressure unprecedented.The inventory management level of an enterprise is related to the capital share of an enterprise,and it is also related to the operating efficiency of an enterprise and the healthy development of the future.Inventory management is a very important part of the company’s production and operation,and is an important part of the value chain.Firstly,this paper analyzes the development status of China’s automobile manufacturing industry,and focuses on the necessity and importance of enterprise inventory management improvement.Secondly,this paper reviews the literature related to inventory management and introduces some basic concepts related to inventory management.On this basis,this paper also studies the development trend of inventory management in foreign and domestic countries.At the same time,through expert interviews,enterprise visits,questionnaire surveys and a series of ways to understand the current situation of Z company’s inventory management,and in-depth research and analysis,realize that Z company due to the relative backwardness of management concepts and management methods,there are many problems in steel inventory management,related problems are mainly reflected in five aspects,including poor coordination within the enterprise,low enthusiasm of employees,weak steel procurement planning,weak supplier management capabilities,weak logistics management capabilities,This is followed by an in-depth analysis of the causes of Company Z’s inventory management problems.Finally,this paper focuses on the optimization suggestions for the current situation of Company Z’s inventory management,and then formulates a series of relevant policies,including tuning the organizational structure,refining the incentive system,adjusting the steel procurement plan,improving the supplier management ability,improving the logistics management ability,and summarizing the conclusions and shortcomings of the research work in this paper. |
