| Construction industry is a pillar industry in China.Since the reform and opening up four decades ago,with the rapid growth of China’s economy,construction industry has made a great contribution to the development of national economy.At the same time,its own progress achievements are also very impressive.However,as China’s economy enters the stage of "new normal",the rapid growth of the construction industry in two consecutive decades has become history.Slowing GDP growth,declining investment in fixed assets,supply-side reform and other new situations make the construction industry driven by policies and resources face unprecedented severe tests.The heady growth model of the past two decades gave birth to a large number of construction companies,leading to fierce competition in the construction industry.With the continuous improvement of the information level of the whole society,building information has become the general trend.With the progress of technology,building information,intelligent,green and assembly,become the future growth point of the industry.Faced with the ever-changing market environment,construction enterprises urgently need to organize and reconstruct their internal and external resources and capabilities to cope with the complex and changeable environment.Compared with the traditional strategy analysis theory,dynamic capabilities provides a new focus for the construction enterprises to formulate corporate strategy and obtain competitive advantage.JC construction company is an old construction enterprise in northeast China.The predecessor of the company was the logistics department of the northeast military area command.Under the background of construction informatization,the company has the problems of backward project management level and low informatization level,which can not meet the development requirements of modern enterprises,especially construction enterprises.In the face of the shrinking market demand and the aggravation of industry competition,the development of enterprises is difficult.It is urgent to change the development mode,keep up with the pace of information technology,and design a feasible development strategy to maintain long-term and healthy development.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the development strategy of JC construction company from the perspective of dynamic capabilities.This paper constructs the development strategy of JC construction company based on the perspective of dynamic capabilities.Using literature research method,it summarizes the theoretical development and framework of dynamic capabilities,which lays a theoretical foundation for thesis writing;through interviews with relevant experts inside and outside the company,it obtains detailed data on the company’s development status,existing problems,etc.,which provides a basis for internal and external environment analysis;by qualitative research,it determines the company’s opportunities,threats,strengths weaknesses and dynamic capabilities.Based on the above results,the theory of dynamic capabilities related to strategic management was combined with the company’s practice,and opportunities and threats in the company’s external environment were identified by means of PESTEL model,Porter’s five forces model,internal and external factors evaluation matrix(EFE,IFE)and other tools.Judge the advantages and disadvantages of the company compared with the competitors by designing the dynamic capabilities evaluation index system model,the dynamic capability of JC construction company is analyzed and evaluated.Finally,SWOT analysis tool and QSPM matrix are used to construct the development strategy in line with the actual situation of JC construction company combining with the relevant theoretical methods of dynamic capabilities.And build the way to improve the dynamic capabilities.According to the current situation and problems of the company,it designs the implementation of the strategy from the business level,decomposes the overall strategy,and provides specific countermeasures and safeguard measures to promote the implementation of the strategy.After the above analysis and research,the paper finally comes to the conclusion:the growth rate of the construction industry has slowed down obviously,the construction industry lags behind the development pace of the whole society,the industry faces the risk of structural elimination,and the industrial boundary will be further weakened.Therefore,JC construction company must build and improve its dynamic capabilities,complete the information upgrade through the formulation and implementation of development strategy,constantly adapt to the new development trend,and ensure the survival and development of the enterprise in the future. |
