Guanzhong Festival Folk Culture Research And Design Practice

Traditional festival culture is a series of ceremonial activities created by ancient ancestors in agricultural society to adapt to production and life,including resting,entertainment,blessing and other functions.The historical appearance has gradually faded in the development and evolution of thousands of years,and it is difficult to determine the origin and flow.As a part of Chinese traditional culture,Guanzhong festival folk culture has profound historical and cultural deposits.It is an intuitive expression of ancestors’ emotional concepts and values.The in-depth study of Guanzhong festival folk culture has certain practical significance and broad development prospects.This time,based on the folk culture of Guanzhong as the research basis,based on its rich and colorful festival folk resources,three festival culture types in Guanzhong are selected as the research objects: the festival culture relics of Guanzhong year old--Doucun Big Wax in Zhouzhi County,the celebration entertainment festival culture relics of Guanzhong--Pucheng Pole Fire,and the ritual festival culture relics of Guanzhong--Baojlong County Fire Liaoyuan custom.Through the investigation,it is found that at present,the academic circle has little involvement in tracing the origin of folk culture,and the depth of research needs to be strengthened.Therefore,this study combined field investigation with literature analysis to sort out the evolution process of Guanzhong festival folk culture and show the historical accumulation and value connotation of Chinese culture.In terms of design practice,firstly,four festival posters were designed by means of illustration.Secondly,it integrates the content of Guanzhong festival folk culture,develops festival culture APP,and improves the cultural influence.Finally,we designed and developed cultural and creative products for Guanzhong festivals to enhance their interest and innovation.The development,promotion and publicity of Guanzhong festival folk customs are of great significance to improving the soft power of urban culture and boosting the development of local economy and culture.
