Nowadays,the construction of modern digital applications has become a popular trend.Virtualization technology is favored by most enterprises with its security,reliability,scalability,advanced nature,openness and manageability.Virtualization technology makes the enterprise system bid farewell to the traditional rack server construction mode and adopt a more stable and secure dynamic elastic IT architecture.Since the system is uniformly deployed in the virtualization cluster after virtualization,the system administrator can simplify the management from dozens or even hundreds of servers to only a few virtualization nodes,which improves the management efficiency and reduces the management cost.The advantage of the integrated virtualization architecture is that it can more ensure the internal and external security and data security of the system,solve problems such as single point of failure,and ensure the long-term safe and stable operation of the whole system.In the design of virtualization platform,advanced technologies,standards and equipment will be combined to meet the needs of higher data and business systems,so as to keep the technology not backward in the next five years and meet the development of informatization.China United Airlines plans to move into Beijing Daxing International Airport in June 2020.At the same time,the corresponding production information system will also move into China Eastern Airlines data center of Daxing airport.At present,the company’s information system is deployed in the working area of Beijing Nanyuan Airport.The servers supporting the operation of the system have been running for an average of 5-10 years,including various problems in hard disk,memory and CPU,which are in urgent need of upgrading,which does not meet the strategic direction of the company’s digital transformation and the deployment requirements of new marketing products.Therefore,China United Airlines Co.,Ltd.has launched the virtualization platform project to improve the existing problems,and plans to use virtualization,cloud storage,dual node database and other technologies to improve the company’s information development progress,integrate the host,storage and database,and establish a unified management platform for the virtualization system.This paper studies the IT virtualization platform construction project of China United Airlines,summarizes some problems existing in the early management of the project,and finds that there are some problems such as unreasonable definition of project activities,inaccurate project duration budget and inappropriate progress control methods.On the basis of this problem,this paper uses the project work breakdown to carry out work deployment and work breakdown,determine the activity logic,estimate the construction period,determine the project activity time,project schedule control and other methods to optimize the project construction period,including the formulation of key paths and real-time dynamic monitoring of process progress,At the same time,it summarizes the basic theoretical system of project time management and the main methods and tools for implementing time management.Finally,it evaluates the time management process of the project,formulates a feasible time management scheme combined with the critical path method,and puts forward corresponding measures to strengthen training and preliminary analysis,optimize organizational structure,strengthen project monitoring and avoid short time chain.Conduct in-depth exploration and Research on the practical process and methods of time management of virtualization platform construction projects,and provide reference and reference conditions for the research of time management of it projects through the case of China United Airlines virtualization platform.
