In 2016,more than 28 million vehicles were sold in the market of China’s passenger car.in which S automobile company as an automobile joint venture brand is facing fierce competition.S automobile company has established its extremely strict system process from development design to production logistics,but there is still a big challenge in the face of advantage of Chinese-made vehicles.The company of joint venture brand should focus on optimizing production processes and methods,and on intelligent manufacturing concept be applied to the research and application of steam manufacture the value chain,to enhance the level of manufacturing and to increase the value of each process to ensure the leading position in the Chinese market.Intelligent manufacturing laboratory construction as a new manufacturing mode takes an important part of exploring core system,which will lay a solid foundation in the exploration of intelligent manufacturing mode,talent cultivation and the smooth application of new manufacturing technology.Whether construction project progress management will be success or not will play a decisive role on subsequent progress management and cost control in the process of vehicle manufacturing.At present,there were frequent delays in all kinds of laboratory and construction projects in S automobile company,and there was a risk of losing control of the progress management of such projects.This paper mainly starts from the project schedule,optimization of progress plan,schedule control research,and systematically introduces the basic theory of critical chain technology,basic ideas and specific application.Combined with the actual work,the application of general management processes and system architecture for such a project were carried out to expound,and in-depth analysis was carried out on the main cause of project delay.Meanwhile using the critical chain technology establish scheme to the project schedule and subsequent process of execution.This scheme was verifies in intelligent manufacturing construction projects in the actual company,and had achieved the desired effect.This article mainly solves time estimates of compression,balance of resource conflict,discovering potential working procedure,the management of buffer time,identify the critical chain,tracking and dynamically controlling the schedule by using the buffer time.All of above has a prolong effect on Lab Building Project of company.Through the practical application of critical chain technology is not only to ensure the project completed on time,but also verifying critical chain technology is feasible in Lab Building Project of company.At the same time it set a good example for the other similar project schedule management and provides the basis of theory and practice.
