Research On The Design Of Aging-friendly Apartments Based On Barrier-free Theor

The research shows the unprecedented process of population aging in China,with disabled elderly,the elderly,empty-nesters and declining birthrate coexisting.The next few decades will see the acceleration of population aging in our country.Taking the elderly-oriented apartment as the research object,this paper analyzes different demands of the self-care elderly,device-helping elderly,disabled elderly and the demented elderly with different behavioral abilities in physical,psychological and activity space.It also explores how to improve the self-care ability of different elderly people in daily living,dining,bathing and toilet using with barrier-free design.The later chapters integrates and analyzes the former research contents.The living space and public activity space with a relatively high frequency of use by the elderly are taken as the research and design object.Intelligent technologies such as health monitoring system,intelligent furniture,intelligent handrail,intelligent home system and emergency call system are integrated into the space.In addition,Internet technology will be used to form intelligent linkage between space of elderly-oriented apartment and medical service system to build an overall intelligent mode,solving the problems of the psychological and physical obstacles brought by functional decline.The introduction of barrier-free intelligent design into elderly-oriented space can effectively improve the convenience of elderly apartment services and ensure the safety of activities.It will also create a comfortable and convenient barrier-free indoor space for the elderly,and provide a theoretical reference for the development of elderly-oriented space in the future.
