Research On The Elderly-oriented Design Of Older Age Apartment Restaurant Environment

The number of China`s old people is increasing,and the trend of aging is developing rapidly.China`s social welfare and pension service is terrible with its economic condition.At the same time,the country faces many problems such as "old before rich" and "4-2-1" family structure.In recent years,a series of national policy for the aged were formulated,with the government attached great importance to the pension services.A great support system was formed gradually that include old-age home,community endowment and institution support.Some new ideas were carried out that focus on the interior environment design in this paper.Diet plays an important role in people’s life,not only can increase the communication between each other,but also can improve the quality of life and people’s sense of happiness.Most of the elderly apartments only satisfied the basic needs of life,few pay attention to the elderly dining environment from three aspects of physical、psychological humanistic care.So improving the elderly diet quality and environment is imperative.First of all,the design and innovation of old apartment restaurant environment is necessary after the analysis the elderly population status of China’s aging population.It is necessary especially for the Shijiazhuang area.Secondly,I known the elderly diet habits and difficulties in Shijiazhuang thirty older age apartments by investigated the physical and psychological characteristics of China’s national conditions and elderly people.Based on the survey results,I selected 3 representative apartments in Shijiazhuang to analyze the current situation,and made suggestions for improvement on the theoretical and practical aspect.Finally,the design methods and key points of layout,furnishings,lighting,colors and materials were carried out after the study of the design of hommization for the aged.I hope this research can provide some theoretical and practical basis for the Chinese elderly apartment restaurant design.The elderly pleasure of life will be improved in the future.
