| Traditional villages are a witness to the historical process of Chinese society.They have the advantages of both natural and human landscapes,and are rich in material and spiritual culture,and have multiple values,making them an important part of Chinese culture.With the invasion of modernisation,some traditional villages are gradually losing their sense of order and unique appearance,and their native landscapes are being destroyed,resulting in the loss of vitality within the villages,the disappearance of their culture,and economic development.In the overall social environment,how to protect the authenticity of traditional villages while promoting their economic development has become the focus of current research on traditional villages.In recent years,rural tourism has become an important component and driving force of the rural revitalisation strategy,and has received active support and vigorous development from the government,bringing more opportunities and vitality to traditional villages.The unique geographical location of western Xingtai,with its non-renewable and potential tourism resources such as beautiful natural landscapes,rich cultural heritage,long historical heritage and good ecological environment,and the initial momentum of rural tourism development,provides sufficient conditions for the conservation and development of its traditional villages.This paper took traditional villages in the western part of Xingtai as the main research object,and carried out landscape design from the perspective of rural tourism.The objectives and significance of the study were determined after understanding the background of the current situation of traditional villages,and the research dynamics,relevant concepts and theories at home and abroad as well as the combination of rural tourism and traditional villages were elaborated and explained,while the experience of excellent cases was drawn upon to provide theoretical basis and support for the design of traditional village landscapes in western Xingtai.Through the collection and collation of relevant data,as well as fieldwork,consultation and filming of the research subjects,the regional environment of the development of traditional villages in western Xingtai was analysed from both natural and human aspects,and the commonalities of their settlement landscapes,architectural landscapes,street landscapes,public space landscapes and human landscapes were summarised,and the factors affecting the formation of traditional village landscapes in this region were comprehensively analysed.It also provided an in-depth analysis of the problems that exist in the villages and then explored the countermeasures for the landscape design of traditional villages in western Xingtai from the perspective of rural tourism.Finally,Yingtan Village was used as a practical project for landscape design.Based on the current situation and resources of the site,Yingtan Village was designed and positioned,and design concepts,principles and strategies were proposed for the transformation and enhancement of the village landscape.The overall spatial layout of"one axis,one belt,one core,four panels and many nodes" was formed,and six areas were divided into entrance landscape area,tourism service area,riverfront tour area,folklore commercial area,idyllic scenery area and cultural experience area.After fully considering the needs of the villagers and tourists,the design of the landscape renovation was reasonable and suitable for Yingtan Village,taking into account the natural and cultural landscape characteristics of the village.In the end,on the basis of protecting the original appearance of the village,Yingtan Village would be developed into a unique tourism site with rural characteristics,including cultural experience,sharing,leisure and health,in order to achieve the protection and development of the village.Rural tourism is one of the effective ways to promote the development of traditional villages.Through the study of the specific design of the landscape of Yingtan Village,the effective methods and strategies for the rational transformation and design of the traditional village landscape from the perspective of rural tourism are explored in order to find a balance between conservation and development,and to provide reference and reference for the landscape design of other traditional villages combined with rural tourism. |
