Research On Optimization Of MS Container Terminal Export Gathering Operation Process

As the container ship docking center between countries in the world,the container terminal is also the place where containers are collected and distributed,and container ships are loaded and unloaded.It is an important hub for container transportation.Nowadays,with the rapid development of shipping industry,the volume of container traffic is increasing.As an important part of terminal operations,the volume of collection and distribution operations has also increased significantly.As the export port gathering plan is not refined enough,external trucks arrive at the port randomly,resulting in a large instantaneous port gathering volume during peak hours and serious congestion at the wharf and around.At the same time,centralized container loading also causes conflicts in container loading operations at the storage yard.The high overtime rate of container loading operations at the port greatly affects the normal operation of the terminal and reduces the service quality and operation efficiency of the terminal.Based on the actual situation of MS container terminal,this paper takes the export gathering operation of MS terminal as the research object,and uses the relevant theories of process optimization,through literature analysis,qualitative and quantitative analysis,investigation and research,as well as KSF,ESEIA,AMSE and other process optimization tools,to comprehensively analyze the problems existing in the export gathering operation process,management mode and system functions,as well as the disordered gathering,vehicle congestion Causes of conflict and inefficiency.Then,a plan is proposed to optimize the key processes in the port gathering process,namely,the planning process of the voyage arrival period and the process of the truck passing.The above problems are solved by using the accurate management mode of the container arrival,and through more sophisticated information based automatic container arrival planning and accurate booking.This mode integrates the external information platform and the internal production system of the terminal,so that the terminal can reasonably plan the number of containers entering the port during the period,enable the container truck to make an appointment on the container gathering information platform according to the container entering plan of the terminal,and effectively control the container truck to enter the port on time according to the terminal plan.Thus,the old model of random arrival of external trucks will be transformed into a new model of accurate container loading for the overall planning of the arrival volume during the time period of trucks.This study has optimized and transformed the management mode,process and system of export container gathering,increased the information exchange between internal and external systems,reduced the planning time of container gathering and inbound,enhanced the planning of container loading at the wharf and the control of container truck inbound,and changed the original unplanned random port gathering into a planned port gathering under the overall planning and control of the wharf.In order to achieve the effect of reducing operation links,reducing process time,improving port congestion,reducing operation conflicts,and reducing truck timeout rate,so as to improve the service quality and operation efficiency of the terminal.
