Research On The Competition And Cooperation Between Lanxi Port And Zhuji Port

China’s inland waterway transportation originated in the 1970 s.Compared with railways and highways,waterway transportation has congenital advantages such as less land occupation,large transport volume,and low energy consumption.Since Reform and Opening,the central government and local governments have attached great importance to the development of inland water transport.Zhejiang is located in the Yangtze River Delta,intertwined with inland water networks,and is based on Ningbo Zhoushan Port and Shanghai Port.The export-oriented economy of Zhejiang Province is well-developed,and the development of inland waterways has good Location advantages,resource advantages,and demand advantages.In recent years,Zhejiang Province has been actively implementing the strategy to strong provinces in the shipping industry.Local governments have used their location advantages to vigorously build inland water transport ports.Due to the lack of scientific planning,there is fierce competition in disorder.Lanxi Port and Zhuji Port are located in the central part of Zhejiang Province,where the hinterland overlaps and the two ports are in a mutually competitive pattern.Therefore,it is of great significance to study how the two ports manage their business strategies,strive for greater interests,and promote the orderly development of the economy in the region.Firstly,this thesis sorts out the related researches on port competing modes,competing research methods,and the port hinterland range at home and abroad,sums up the advanced experience and methods,and forms the theoretical basis for this study.The analysis and calculation of the radiation range of the harbor form a model of the harbor radiation range.According to the model of harbor radiation range,the hinterland of the port is divided and the cross hinterland is clearly defined.It is analyzed that the port competition is essentially the competition of the resources in the cross-internal hinterland.And use the four-phase transportation method to forecast the origin of the hinterland.Based on the research of existing port competition and cooperation,a port game model has been established,and it has been analyzed that when two inland river ports compete and cooperate with each other,the income changes with changes in prices,resulting in strategic adjustments.Taking Lanxi Port and Zhuji Port of Zhejiang Province as the research objects,the scope,demand,and competition analysis of the port radiation were analyzed.Finally,this paper proposes the countermeasures and suggestions for accelerating the development of the two ports in light of the problems existing in the development of Lanxi Port and Zhuji Port and the need for development.
