Research On Inventor Control Of Import Raw Material In GL Company

With the intensification of competition in the automobile market and the increasing demand of customers for small batch diversification,auto parts enterprises are also facing increasingly severe challenges.Auto parts enterprises on the one hand,face the same customer in pressure drop,on the other hand consider the global shortage of high-tech materials(such as high quality steel products,chemical materials,rubber,etc.)caused by imports of raw materials rise in price,how to survive in the cracks,how in such a fragile state of supply chain and improve profit margins,is each auto parts enterprises,Especially for companies that rely on imported raw materials.Among them,cost control is undoubtedly the choice of most enterprises.Optimizing the internal inventory control of enterprises can not only reduce the burden of enterprises,but also provide guarantee for the cash flow of enterprises,and promote the increase of operating income.Selected in this paper,we study the GL company as the research object,through actual participation and the reading of vast amount of materials and documents,through the analysis of the data collection and the actual investigation and study,found that main problems of GL company refinement,finished goods inventory control process is not enough demand forecast volatile,high inventory and shortage coexist,dull inventory is high.In view of these problems,combined with the relevant theories of inventory control,from the demand side of finished products and the ordering of imported raw materials to find out the countermeasures to solve the problems,at the same time,put forward the control and treatment scheme of stagnant inventory.According to the analysis of historical data,the weighted moving average method is more suitable for GL company’s demand management of finished products.Using ABC/XYZ inventory classification,different ordering strategies will be set for different products.Through the optimization of SAP material master data,improve the accuracy and stability of imported raw material ordering.In order to ensure the implementation of control measures,this paper puts forward a series of safeguard measures.Finally,the research work is summarized and the future work is prospected.
