Research On The Optimization Of Raw Material And Finished Goods Management Of Company A

Since 2002,China have entered a period of rapid development.The state has gradually increased investment in the power industry,and the state grid has launched centralized bidding,posing new challenges to the power equipment industry.With the increasingly fierce competition,the bargaining power of customers is getting stronger and stronger.How to meet the needs of customers and maintain a reasonable inventory level has become a problem in inventory management.Taking company A as an example and combining with the theory of inventory management,this thesis deeply studies the existing problems of inventory management of company A.First of all,the thesis deeply analyzes and summarizes three major problems faced by company A's inventory management,that is,high raw material level,slow moving stock and finished goods continues to increase.Secondly,the thesis makes a detailed analysis of the problems found and finds out the causes,there are raw material classification method no support business growth,the unreasonable of safety stock setting and imperfect sales and operation process.Thirdly,in view of the causes of inventory management problems,the thesis proposes three aspects of inventory management improvement plans,namely,the optimization of raw material classification management,the setting of safety inventory and the optimization of sales and operation process(S&OP).Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed optimization scheme is verified by comparing 2011 to 2015 data,before and after the implementation of the inventory management improvement scheme.Meanwhile,the thesis continues to track the implementation results of the optimization scheme from 2016 to 2018,further verifying the sustainability of the optimization scheme.The research ideas and results of this thesis have certain reference significance for similar small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises.
