After decades of rapid development,China’s construction market has experienced many changes and has gradually become saturated. From the development of the construction industry in recent years, the supply in the real estate market has exceeded the demand, and the transaction volume and price tend to be stable and downward. In this market environment, all kinds of prices are gradually transparent, the competition is more intense, and the profits of all kinds of construction enterprises are also showing a downward trend. There is an urgent need to use scientific and objective methods to reduce costs and stabilize the profit level. The construction process is complex, including civil structure, mechanical and electrical installation, decoration and other projects. From the initial construction drawing design to the construction of the construction project,to the completion and delivery, project quality warranty, etc.,it involves the management and control of all kinds of materials, machines, tools and personnel, and there is also great room for change in the time and space of construction flow. Therefore, the cost control of construction project is a very complex and detailed work, which is also very important. In order to improve the profit space, construction enterprises must have a complete, systematic, effective and applicable cost control system to realize the lowest construction cost and the fastest construction period on the premise of ensuring the project quality,so as to make the whole project cost control process more smooth,In the construction process, problems are found in time and corrective measures are taken to make the project and enterprises finally achieve the cost control goal and improve the core competitiveness of construction enterprises. The construction cost control of construction project is an extremely important and complex systematic work.According to the characteristics of cost control of construction project, this paper takes the construction cost control management of project A as the main research object, and achieves the ultimate goal of controlling the project cost through the dual factor control of cost and schedule.Firstly,it briefly introduces various theoretical methods and practical applications of cost management. On this basis,it expounds the concept, parameters and process of earned value method, and compares it with project cost control method.Secondly,it analyzes various cost control problems and reasons existing in the construction process of project A,and describes the necessity and feasibility of introducing earned value method into project A.Thirdly, the effectiveness of earned value method in the construction cost control of project A is explained through the work structure decomposition and responsibility matrix, construction progress and cost plan, setting monitoring points, cost calculation and deviation analysis, putting forward deviation correction measures, evaluation effect and guarantee measures of project A.Through the research of this paper,on the premise of the effectiveness of introducing earned value method into project A,the problem of project cost overrun is solved, the construction cost is controlled through scientific and effective methods, and the profit level of the project is improved.Through the research, the dual management of cost and progress is realized, and the dynamic control method is used to make the managers of the enterprise more clearly understand the overall cost control point of the project, avoid the disadvantages of using the traditional static cost analysis to control the project, and prevent the managers from making wrong decisions. The research results of this paper can provide a reference for mining more effective cost management and control methods.
