| At present, the promotion of national economic efficiency by the economic development of urban agglomerations has become the key content in the construction of China’s new development pattern. The regional coordinated and integrated development represented by the Yangtze River Delta is of great significance to the development of urbanization in China. As one of the regions with the strongest economic vitality in China, the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration plays an increasingly important role in allocating resources, and the transportation infrastructure construction represented by high-speed rail has played a huge role in its development. However,in the process of exploring the construction of urban agglomerations,China has gradually found many urbanization problems, such as unclear industrial division in different cities, unbalanced regional development, and low resource utilization.Specific research should be conducted based on the important function of agglomeration of economic elements in urban agglomeration and the important impact of opening of high-speed rail on regional economy,so as to help solve relevant practical problems. At present, the research on highspeed rail and factor flow is not enough, and the attention to urban agglomeration is still insufficient. This paper takes the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration as the research object.Firstly, based on the existing research and basic theories, this paper theoretically analyzes the path of high-speed rail on the efficiency of factor resources flow.Secondly, the factor flow characteristics of urban agglomeration before and after the opening of high-speed rail are explored by constructing the flow index of labor, capital and technology factors. The DEA models are further used to measure the factor resources flow efficiency in the two stages of ‘Factor structure change’ and ‘Factor resources allocation’.Finally, the panel fixed effect model is used to empirically test the impact of high-speed rail opening on factor resources flow efficiency of Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration. The results show that :(1)There are differences in the flow characteristics of labor, capital and technology in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration before and after the opening of high-speed rail, and the flow efficiency of factor resources is gradually improved. The labor and technology elements fluctuated greatly from inflow to outflow, these two elements flow unevenly in the urban agglomeration.Capital factors are steadily shifting from outflow to inflow, and cities showing the trend of capital inflow are expanding from north to south. And the flow efficiency of factor resources in two stages is moving towards a more stable and efficient direction, which means that the flow of regional factor resources is becoming more reasonable.(2)The opening of high-speed rail can promote the flow efficiency of factor resources in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, and there is heterogeneity of cities. The opening of high-speed rail can have a more direct impact on the flow efficiency of factor resources at the stage of ‘Factor structure change’.According to the city level, the promotion effect of high-speed rail on the flow efficiency of factor resources shows the characteristics of ‘big cities < medium cities < small cities’.(3)In the process of the impact of the opening of high-speed rail on the flow efficiency of urban factor resources, different factors play different roles. In the stage of ‘Factor structure change’,the outflow of labor and technology has become an important way to improve the efficiency of factor resources flow.In the stage of ‘Factor resources allocation’,only labor factor outflow plays a certain role.(4)The quantitative effect of high-speed rail opening is mainly manifested in the stage of ‘Factor resource allocation’,and this quantitative effect also has heterogeneity of different cities. Finally, based on the research results, this paper puts forward some suggestions from the aspects of high-speed rail construction, urban agglomeration development and local government measures,so as to better play the economic effect of high-speed rail in the development of new urbanization. |
