International conservation bodies have reached consensus on the importance of information dissemination in the protection of cultural heritage, recognizing that elements of heritage dissemination, including interpretation, presentation and education, are important components of the protection of cultural heritage, the dissemination of information plays an important role in the protection of cultural heritage by improving the public’s understanding and appreciation of cultural heritage, which leads to wider interest and active participation in its protection. As a special container of human culture, prehistoric sites are the starting point of human civilization and human cities.Because most of the remains of prehistoric sites are buried in the ground, they are often difficult to identify and are not ornamental,so in recent years, many cities have set up prehistoric site parks to preserve and display prehistoric sites, but most prehistoric parks are rarely visited after they have been built, making them difficult to gain public acceptance. The purpose of the construction of the prehistoric sites park is not only to protect the prehistoric sites, but also to spread the information of the prehistoric sites to the public, but very few prehistoric sites park in the display design process to consider the effect of information dissemination of prehistoric sites. Therefore, this paper aims to analyze the communication elements and process of the exhibition design of the prehistoric site park from the perspective of information communication,so as to construct the methods of exhibition design, the nodes of feedback and the ways of evaluation,in order to make the prehistoric site park more accurate to transmit more prehistoric site information. In this paper, the following aspects of specific research work:(1)On the prehistoric sites, information dissemination and audience psychology and other related theories to comb and research, build a theoretical framework, guide the follow-up chapters.(2)Identifying the elements and processes of information communication in the display design of prehistoric park from the perspective of information communication.(3)3 based on the communication elements of the prehistory park display design identified by the foregoing, research on the display design methods of the Prehistory Park at home and abroad(4)Construction of prehistoric site park display design framework, design process and media toolbox.(5)Based on the frame system of exhibition design of Prehistoric Ruins Park, the exhibition design of Dahecun Park is applied. The conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The exhibition design of prehistoric ruins park is a kind of information dissemination activity,in which the information dissemination elements include the disseminator, the dissemination content, the medium and the audience.(2)Based on the perspective of information communication, this paper reveals the communication characteristics and connotation of prehistoric ruins park.(3)Based on the elements of information dissemination and the four stages of the exhibition design of prehistoric site park, this paper studies the exhibition design of prehistoric site park at home and abroad, and obtains the existing problems.(4)Based on the information dissemination elements, the ideal dissemination process model of the exhibition design information dissemination in prehistoric ruins park is identified.(5)Based on the principle of information communication, the work frame, design flow and media toolbox of the exhibition design of prehistoric ruins park are constructed.(6)Based on the process and method of exhibition design of prehistoric Dahecun Park, this paper analyzes the text of exhibition design competition of prehistoric ruins park, and puts forward some suggestions for optimization.
