Research On The Evolution Of Passenger Station Architecture Along The Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway From The Perspective Of Visual Culture

In recent years,China’s railroad industry has been developing rapidly,and the Chinese railroad culture and its system have experienced more than 100 years of development history from scratch,finally forming China’s splendid railroad culture.2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games,as the Olympic special line of the Beijing-Zhangzhou high-speed railway is to show the outstanding achievements of China’s railroad construction leading the world.In the background of cultural confidence,people pay attention to the retrospection of culture,which is reflected in the cultural design and expression of architecture,and railroad passenger stations are iconic public buildings in cities and important hubs for transportation links between cities.The significant social concern and important city status make its cultural design and expression particularly important.Jingzhang Railway is the first railroad built by Chinese people independently,which has witnessed the development of China’s railroad business after a century of changes.In the process of building,altering,expanding,abandoning,decommissioning,and building new high-speed railway stations,the railroad culture,Chinese culture,and international influence have all been present in the station’s architectural design,and the issue of inheriting traditional culture while shaping the architectural style in the new era is more worthy of consideration.The article takes the concept of architectural visual culture as the perspective and entry point to study the evolution of passenger station architecture along the main line of Beijing-Zhangzhou Railway.Firstly,based on the development background of domestic large railroad passenger stations and architectural cultural trends,the evolution of the architectural style of passenger stations along the Beijing-Zhang railroad is divided into three stages: the period of eclectic style,the period of modernist style,and the period of high school architectural style,and the evolution of the architectural style of passenger stations along the Beijing-Zhang railroad is constructed;secondly,the architectural style is positioned and the architectural ontological elements are analyzed,starting from the evolution of architectural visual factors.The "visual" and "culture" are linked together through the medium of architectural ontological elements,and the order and form representations of passenger station architecture along the Beijing-Zhangzhou Railway are extracted and analyzed,and their representational evolution is interpreted from the perspective of the connotation of architectural visual culture.The article concludes that the evolution of architectural culture from surface,middle and deep forms has influenced the shaping of architectural style.Thirdly,based on this,the article takes Xizhimen station of Beijing-Zhang railroad as an example to study the evolution of architectural style by applying the paradigm of architectural visual culture,and further elaborates the influence of the evolution of cultural connotation on the shaping of architectural style of Xizhimen station from the perspective of architectural visual culture.With a comprehensive understanding of the history of architecture and its representativeness of different styles,the design approach of architectural visuals is used to ensure the historical heritage and cultural innovation of Chinese architectural culture in the historical trend of railroad passenger station reconstruction,expansion and new construction,while creating an architectural style that meets the needs of the new era.
