Study On The Construction Of Traditional Civil Dwellings Along The Yellow River In Inner Mongolia

The traditional civil house is a kind of traditional house,which bears the load of the upper part of the house by the wooden frame and the wall.In the social and economic development,the lack of the corresponding repair of the traditional civil houses make it gradually destroyed,leading to its gradual abandonment by the people.Due to its unique geographical and social background,the traditional civil houses in Inner Mongolia along the Yellow River are gradually derived from the unique local form,so it is important to study the inheritance and protection of traditional civil houses in Inner Mongolia along the Yellow River.The traditional civil houses along the Yellow River in Inner Mongolia include Huhhot,Baotou,Erdos,Bayannaoer,Alxa League and Wuhai.This paper finds that there are different construction methods for the foundations,walls,timber frames and roofs of the traditional civil houses along the Yellow River.Through the research on the spatial form of traditional civil houses,it is found that the spatial form of traditional civil houses is closely related to the construction methods of its parts.When the traditional civil house adopts rammed ground or soil rammed foundation,gable frame or simply supported ribbed beam,rammed earth wall and roof,the whole space of the traditional civil house is small.When the foundation adopts rubble stone foundation or brick foundation,the wall adopts adobe brick wall or brick-covered earth wall,the wooden frame adopts girder-building structure form,and the roof adopts tile roof,the overall space form of folk houses is larger.Through the investigation of the status quo of traditional civil houses along the Yellow River in Inner Mongolia,it is found that traditional civil houses have some damage.In order to clearly understand the cause of damage,this paper uses the finite element modeling method to analyze the whole structure of traditional civil houses.Through finite element modeling and analysis,it is found that most of the existing problems of traditional civil dwellings are caused by the lack of corresponding connection measures during the construction.It is also found that there are hidden troubles in the whole roofing,the junction of gable wall and eaves wall,the partition wall and so on.Therefore,this paper puts forward strengthening measures for the weak parts of these traditional civil houses by referring to the corresponding literature.Traditional civil houses are the embodiment of traditional architectural wisdom.Therefore,the analysis of its construction method and overall performance by means of on-the-spot investigation and software simulation is conducive to excavating its inherent wisdom of construction,and the corresponding reinforcement measures for the parts prone to damage are also conducive to its protection and inheritance.
