Abstract/Summary:
"The three rivers mouth first, then Nanning City",there are three national traditional villages in the upper, middle and lower reaches of the three rivers mouth in Nanning, which epitomizes the history and culture of Nanning city.Since the reform and opening up,the material basis of urban and rural space in China has developed rapidly, but the protection and inheritance of cultural connotation are relatively lagging behind. At the same time,Nanning traditional villages along the river as an important carrier of Chinese culture transmission corridor in the center of Guangxi, its material and cultural value is very high. However, the existing research on their culture, history and spatial relationship is not enough to comb and dig, thus weakening or even disappearing the historical evolution relationship between culture and space in the protection and inheritance of traditional villages, leading to the danger that the protection and inheritance of traditional villages will become a tree without roots. In the past20 years, cultural landscape concept has been widely used in the villages study, which integrates material and culture elements to form a systematic study of their coordination. Therefore, this study aims to introduce the theory of cultural landscape and study villages with the influence of culture on space and the representation of space on culture as the theme.Under study,by exploring the history and culture of villages, traditional villages along the river in Nanning can find their unique cultural connotation and spatial characteristics again. This study takes three state-level traditional villages along the river in Nanning(Trade village Yangmei village, military village Sanjiangpo, farming village Nagaopo)as the research objects. From the perspective of cultural landscape, the public space, residential space and landscape space of the villages are selected as the research samples. In terms of research methods, the "time-space-culture-value" correlation research framework is constructed through cultural landscape theory, and the state-level Han nationality traditional village along the River in Nanning is taken as study case, and the spatial correlation between the village’s material composition and cultural connotation is further analyzed, and the spatial research carrier is implemented.Through investigation and analysis of local social culture, observe and summarize the spatial characteristics of villages, and then explore the association between social culture and village space, and further refine the value implications. Finally, combined with the development background of villages, the case is systematically analyzed, and the evolution law, cultural motivation and core value of village space are preliminarily summarized. Finally, the paper summarizes the evolution rules, cultural motivations and core values of the three cases, and further explores the cultural mechanism that causes the differences among them through comparative study, that is,the cultural mechanism difference between trade culture, military culture and farming culture. On this basis, facing the current problems of cultural loss, material decline, contradiction between tradition and modernity, industry and culture loss in traditional villages, the sustainable evolution and development of cultural landscape is established as the goal. With the four elements of "timespace-culture-value" as the starting point, and in accordance with the trend of time and policy guidance, methods and strategies for inheritance and renewal of traditional villages of different cultural types are proposed,so as to provide help for the rural revitalization of Nanning and even other regions.
