Digital technology,the foundation of the development of the information age,has touched every field of society as the 21 st century came.The industrial paradigm shift through the integration of digital technologies is advancing in various industries,and the penetration of digital technologies is inevitable in the construction industry.As a multidisciplinary and social attributes,architecture is full of information in every link,from foundation to design,construction and management and digital technology are capable of processing and sending lots of information.The digitalization of architecture has become a very potential development direction.Nowadays,architecture gradually tends to be personalized,non-standardized and customized.New building materials also promote the emergence of new building types.Digital design and construction is a construction production mode that closely links design and construction through digital flow.This direct connection avoids information loss caused by information translation.More flexible and controllable production can be achieved with digital construction tools.Based on the development of building digitization,this paper analyzes relevant theories,studies digital design methods,digital construction methods and other issues,and makes a clear display of the overall appearance of digital design and construction of buildings.And the digital design and construction of anisotropic structural composite materials represented by bamboo,wood and carbon fiber are studied on this basis.The methods of digital design through parametric modeling,algorithm generation,path planning and simulation are interpreted,as well as the processing and construction of different materials through material reduction manufacturing,two-dimensional cutting,digital assembly and space winding through case studies of innovative practical construction.This paper also tells the logical and ways between design and construction,explains the problems in the course of design and construction,and demonstrates the design process through digital simulation design.In this way,it can broaden the direction of digital design and construction,contribute the development of digital design and construction,and make offer to inspiration and technical reference for the digital design and construction of buildings with anisotropic structural composite materials.
