Abstract/Summary:
With the application of emerging digital technology in the field of architecture,digital architectural design is directed to a more scientific and practical way.The formal aesthetics and various properties in architectural design gradually show a trend of diversity and complexity.In the past,the design,drawing,and construction of buildings presented a unidirectional and separate process,which has greatly limited the way of information conveying and design.Therefore,the development of design information from one-direction to shared,with design techniques from formoriented to construction-oriented,is an inevitable trend of digital technology application in architecture.This article firstly aims at realizing structural performance-based design,taking buildings and forms generated from a certain design logic as the research object,as well as taking the structural generation logic as the starting point,to sort out the evolution and technical association of structure and building in architecture history,to sort out various construction technology and design methods and propose their possible development directions by analyzing method and logic of the integrated process of design and construction.Secondly,starting from the structural performance system,this article discusses the design and construction methods of form building based on structural performance.In the method,it takes the structural performance as the starting point,and the digital design and construction coordinated architectural form as the focus.The method is composed of three steps: the performance integration of building and structure,the collaborative relationship establishment of building and construction,and the optimization of design and construction integration process.In terms of morphological generation,the method of multi-parameter combination and geometric structure constraints is used for preliminary morphological generation;in terms of structure and construction strategy coordination,the methods of simulation feedback,the whole structural process and algorithm optimization are used to evaluate the construction performance and process.Based on the Rhinoceros and Grasshopper software platform and the KUKA robotic arm hardware platform,the full text establishes an integrated method of digital design and construction,and realizes the sharing and feedback of design and construction information.Based on it,a real-time interactive correlation is established between structural performance,building form generation and robot construction.Finally,the process was verified through the practice of integrating design and construction.
