Information dissemination in the context of We Media dissemination has the characteristics of decentralization and interaction. It is against the background of this rapid dissemination of information that homestays develop. In addition,as rural construction and rural tourism are highly valued, rural homestays are developing rapidly.Rural homestays turn resources into economies and bring people a variety of life experiences.Under the background of "homestay fever",the development of rural homestays faces many challenges. The homogenization of homestay designs is becoming more and more serious, which makes the regional characteristics of the building not well maintained. At the same time,in the face of huge information resources, similar rural homestays design loses its attractiveness in We Media communication. This paper takes the We Media communication as the research background, and takes the northern rural homestay as the research object. On the basis of theoretical research, use the research methods mainly based on investigation, literature reading and content analysis to analyze the case of homestay.Collect the case text content of the We Media platform, and use methods such as word segmentation and extraction of high-frequency words for classification and statistics. The key areas of regional expression are analyzed, including the site, function, space treatment, materials and details, and design concepts of the homestay. And from the perspective of self-media communication,it summarizes the expression of homestay cases, and analyzes its impact on homestay communication.Summarize the general principles of rural homestay design, and proposes design strategies against the background of architectural regionality and We Media communication.
