Study On The Inheritance Of Chinese Traditional Garden Interest And Charm In The Design Of Contemporary Rural Homestay

With the rapid development of rural economy in the past 20 to 30 years,the contemporary rural homestay has become an important way of leisure and cultural experience in contemporary society,and its cultural expression has increasingly become the focus of social attention.Its design is excessively homogenized and superficial,and lacks the research on the cultural spirit and connotation,which makes it difficult to form the cultural inheritance in the true sense.In the face of the above problems,it has become an important research topic to explore the expression of the cultural spirit and connotation related to the design of rural homestay.Chinese traditional gardens are the concentrated embodiment of the ancient literati’s leisure pursuits,and contain the essence of Chinese traditional leisure culture and aesthetic pursuits.Therefore,how to rediscover the aesthetic taste of life in the traditional garden in the design of rural homestay is the inexhaustible cultural source and cultural gene of its development.Aiming at the above problems,this paper,on the basis of the basic principle of mutual unification of design form and culture,uses the relevant theories of cognitive psychology and traditional Chinese habitat culture for reference,systematically sorts out and refines the aesthetic thoughts of traditional Chinese garden.In terms of research methods,this paper adopts the method of literature review to summarize and refine the theories of previous research results,which serves as the basis of theoretical research in this paper,so as to enhance the deliberability of research.At the same time,the field investigation method is used to investigate the existing representative traditional gardens and related homestays in China,collect relevant data,and provide a factual basis for the follow-up research.Furthermore,through case analysis,this paper analyzes the design cases of local homestay,and provides referential methods for the later design practice,and finally uses aesthetics,landscape architecture,design and other multidisciplinary research methods to refine the cultural interest and charm of the Chinese traditional garden,put forward the new idea and new method to inherit and carry forward traditional garden interest and charm,and according to the characteristics of contemporary social development,come up with strategy and methods to combine the contemporary rural homestay facility design and traditional garden interest and charm.The research content of this paper is mainly divided into four parts.The first part is the preliminary basic research.Based on the analysis of the development motivation,process,characteristics and status quo of the contemporary rural homestay in China,the paper concludes that the cultural inheritance of rural homestay has problems because the designer has a vague understanding of the value of traditional culture,and a lack of research on the inheritance objectives and modern expression methods of traditional culture.The second part is throughin-depth analysis of the expression of "meaning" and the pursuit of "interest" in Chinese traditional garden design,to extract the aesthetic thoughts of Chinese traditional garden interest and charm,and draw the conclusion that the traditional garden interest and charm for the creation of Yin and Yang interest,living interest and humanistic interest of the comprehensive role.The third part is a comparison between the two,and it is found that the essential integration of cultural genes is similar to the pursuit of ideals,and there is a certain contradiction in cultural integration.It proposes the selection principle of inheritance from the four aspects of inheritance goal,form,culture and inheritance core.The fourth part is a comprehensive analysis of the first three parts,to explore the design expression principles,strategies and methods of inheriting the traditional garden,and prove its feasibility through the design practice application.Through the above research,this paper attempts to analyze the hidden aesthetic pursuit of life behind the traditional Chinese gardens,to refine the cultural pursuit of traditional gardens and summarize its expression methods.Then it is applied to the design of contemporary rural homestay,so that the life interest of the emperor and the local doctor in the traditional garden can serve the public through the translation of rural homestay.It tries to provide the corresponding cultural borrowing objectives,principles and methods for the contemporary rural homestay,in order to provide a new exploration path for the inheritance of national culture.
