Around the world,with the development of urbanization,the rapid growth of population have destroyed ecological environment and threatened the biodiversity.As the hot spot of bird diversity and the migration channel,urban river corridor plays an important role in improving environment.Wenyu River Corridor as one of the most important river corridors of Beijing,is of value in theoretical research.Therefore,this study chose the Beijing Wenyu River Corridor as the research site.And,through investigating and analyzing the relationship between the plant community and the bird community,and between environment and human disturbance and bird community,the study figured out the bird preference’s plant species and plant habitats,and the parameters affecting the bird community.Therefore,the study provided important basis data and reference about the construction of plant landscape of urban river corridor based on bird habitat.The results of this study were as follows:1.The existing vascular plant species(including varieties and forms)of Beijing Wenyu River Corridor were 136,belonging to 51 families and 112 genera.For the plant species,the species ratio of tree : shrub : herb : vine was 19 : 8: 31.5 : 1 : 8.5.The advantage family were Gramineae,Rosaceae,Compositae,Papilionidae and Luteocereaceae and the advantage genera were Prunus,Sophora,Populus and Artemisia.The tree species which was used most frequently was Salix matsudana f.pendula,the shrub species was Forsythia suspensa,and the herb species was Ixeridium sonchifolium.Among 15 species of common plants in Beijing Wenyu River Corridor,their flowering and fruiting period was concentrated in spring to autumn(March-November).The native plant species was accounted for 76.47% and there were 12 invasive plants in the corridor.Besides,a total of 62 species of feeding-source plant and 14 species of arbor nesting tree species were recorded,but they were unevenly distributed and just formed a small scale.There were two types of riparian zone based on the evaluation of Near Nature Standard.There were four primary habitat types and nine secondary habitat types based on bird habitat classification system and plant’s characteristic that related to bird habitat and breeding.2.A total of 107 bird species were recorded in the Beijing Wenyu River Corridor,belonging to 17 orders and 37 families.The Palaearctic bird species was the main species from respect of natural distribution regions.In terms of rare bird species,the corridor had recorded a total of 87 protected species of China,and 50 protected species of Beijing.Nesting in tree was the most common nesting type and taking insects and aquatic creatures as main food were the most common feeding habits during the bird community.3.In terms of the relationship between plant habitat and bird community,herb coverage was significantly correlated with bird diversity.With the decrease of herb coverage,bird diversity would increase,while bird evenness would decrease.Besides,in terms of the relationship between environment and human disturbance and bird community,it found that the degree of plant management and distance to water were negatively correlated with bird richness and bird diversity,while water quality,visitor flow rate and width of corridor were positively correlated with bird diversity.There were seven bird groups in Beijing Wenyu River Corridor and different bird group had different preference to plant habitat type.The habitat Ⅱ of deciduous broad-leaf sparse forest community and the habitat Ⅶ of shallow wetland attracted the most different types of bird groups.The highest important value of woody plant were Ulmus pumila and Lonicera maackii.4.In this study,many suggestions and strategies for the reconstruction planning of different riparian zones and the recommendation of plant species and plant community(7)suitable for different bird group were put forward.Besides,the conservation and management of plant habitat was put forward,too. |
