Research On The Impact Of Ecological Efficiency On Financial Performance In Heavy Pollution Industry

In the past extensive economic development,enterprises focused on creating value,but ignored the problem of resource waste and environmental pollution,resulting in tight resource constraints and serious environmental pollution,which directly endangers people's health and social stability.As an important part of China's national economic system,heavy pollution industry has the characteristics of high income,high pollution and high consumption.Its production and operation process directly affects the ecological environment.Therefore,they must correctly deal with the relationship between economic development and environmental protection,and take the sustainable development path of economic development and ecological civilization complementing each other and complementing each other.We take the listed companies of heavy pollution industry as the research object,evaluates their ecological efficiency,and provides theoretical basis for increasing the enthusiasm of enterprises to improve ecological efficiency by analyzing the impact direction and mechanism of ecological efficiency on financial performance.First of all,drawing on the relevant academic research results of domestic and foreign scholars on ecological efficiency and heavy pollution industry enterprises for reference,sorts out the research ideas,contents and research methods,combs the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of this research content,which paves the way for the following empirical analysis.Secondly,taking the ecological efficiency as the main line,this paper constructs the ecological efficiency evaluation index system and the super SBM model of unexpected output to evaluate the ecological efficiency of Listed Companies in heavy pollution industry;in order to further analyze the impact of ecological efficiency on financial performance and the impact mechanism,this paper constructs the impact model of Listed Companies in heavy pollution industry on financial performance.Thirdly,the ecological efficiency of Listed Companies in heavy pollution industry is evaluated.The evaluation results show that: the ecological efficiency of sample companies is on the rise during the research period,but the ecological efficiency value is uneven,and the overall ecological efficiency level is low;the analysis of the impact of ecological efficiency on financial performance shows that: the ecological efficiency has a significant positive impact on financial performance,and through improving the total asset turnover rate,gross profit margin of enterprise sales,reducing period expenses to improving the financial performance.Finally,Combined with the national conditions of our country,the development of Listed Companies in heavy pollution industry and the current situation of the application of sustainable development concept in heavy pollution industry,based on the empirical analysis of this paper,the paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the ecological efficiency of Listed Companies in heavy pollution industry.
